Here it comes:** Today we will begin hitting credit cards for the Ultimate and Super Leagues. We will get all of those finalized today.
** The KDS deadline for all of our live events – including the auction leagues, which will use KDS this year – is this afternoon. I'll tell STATS to forward those to us tonight or tomorrow, so even if we don't lock those out any changes made online after that won't be taken by us. Set your KDS preferences now and be ready for your draft picks soon.
** We will begin announcing the nomination orders for the Auction Leagues and the league assignments tomorrow. Credit cards have already been processed for those, so these should be good to go by tomorrow late morning or early afternoon. It will be fun to announce these and get the ball rolling on the live events.
** We should be able to announce the Ultimate and Super Leagues on Thursday morning, as long as all payment issues are cleared up. I feel good about being able to do that with the group we have on board. So look for those league assignments on Thursday.
** The main event should be sold out by Friday morning as we have several folks on the hook for these last nine spots. I feel good about saying that we'll be able to announce the draft spots at some point on Friday. If we can do this, it will give you 8 days of preparation for your draft spots and really be a nice way to kick off the 2009 season. I really don't see any snag in making this happen. It could be later than that, but as of now I think we're in great shape to do this at some point on Friday. Stay tuned for exact times because I LOVE to create a big buildup for this and tease the spots city-by-city, league-by-league.
** Payments for the NFBC Online Championship League will start to be charged on Thursday and we'll pull draft spots for the March 28, 29 and 30 leagues before we leave for the live events. We want all early-bird signups to have their draft spots no later than a week in advance of those dates. So we'll get that rolling next week as well and start closing off some dates from March 28 going downward.
That should be it for now. That's a good game plan for the week ahead and it sure makes life easier for me and Tom, for accounting, for our participants, for our hotels and for everyone else.
