giving up 4 earned runs and 7 hits allowed, uh oh.

You want to see some improvement this year.

Then he allows one baserunner over the next 2 1/3 innings.

6 innings - 8 hits allowed - 4 earned runs - 1 walk - 9 K's.

I'm feeling much better. Nice game, 9 K's to 1 walk. Only allowed one homer (for him that's good) If he can settle down a bit he's going to be fine.

He should be done for the day with 109 pitches (don't do it Dusty!)

My boy Maholm pitching very nicely so far.

My boy Maholm pitching very nicely so far. I heard on the radio 1b LaRoche just missed a home run that Taveras scaled the wall to catch... otherwise would've been 2 HR served up by Cueto.

Just trying to put the scare back in ya Crazy!

How bout A Hill (8 rbi) and Lind (12 rbi) this first week? Solid start from Halladay and maybe a 2 win week unless the Tribe come back from 5-1 in the 8th. C Lee still thinks it's spring training. Choo hit clean up today with Hafner sitting.

F Rodney 1 perfect inn, 3 Ks and the save. Impressive outing and Rodney owners must be feeling a little better after today's save.

The Tavares catch would not have gone over the wall.

Jay Bruce made a beautiful full sprint assist to home for an out, though...perfect form and throw, nice easy one hop.

Just like little league videos. :D

Funny how few people feel Rodney (20th rounder) can get the job done (34 saves/25 blown) while there has been almost total faith in Broxton (as early as 4th round) (19 saves, 19 blown)

come on crazy, how many of those were legit blown saves, for both parties? you know that that was a misleading statement.

;)

Also rodney and injuries would be the other reason.
