For me, 2009 is like a bad dream. In the course of a week+ on my main event team, Lyon lost his job, Milledge got demoted, and C.Gomez is a part-timer on the verge of being demoted. With having 6 money teams this year, my drafting prowess has to improve somewhere, right? Fat chance!
In my 6 leagues, I used the same draft strategy. I made an extra effort to get quality catchers...I own McCann (4 times), Iannetta (3 times), Doumit (1 time), Johjima (1 time). 9 out of a possible 12 catchers either DL'd or totally sucking. Wow, that really worked out. I also planned on getting my sb through mid-tier OF'ers...C.Gomez (3 times) and Milledge (2 times). So much for counting on 55+ stolen bases from those guys. And on the pitching end, I got Joe Blanton on 4 or 5 teams doing his best to blow me up every start he gets. I'm the bEsT! :rolleyes:
