I hate it when....

Post by Top Dawg » Sat May 16, 2009 4:01 am

My starter pitches a great game (Vazquez), leaves with a lead, and the set-up man does his job in the 8th inning. Then the "closer" comes in and gives up a run to tie the game in the 9th. Bottom of the inning, Atlanta scores a run and low and behold.... the "closer" gets the win and my starter gets nada. Baseball needs to look into this type of BS.

OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Ok, I see how this works...

I hate it when... after the second day of the season, everyone proclaims one of my starting pitchers a Cy Young contender. Ugghh. Let's just give him the ultimate curse. One month later, he leaves a game with a weak shoulder. Sigh. Yep, I mean you, Josh Johnson.

I hate it when... my 1st rd draft pick goes 0 for 4.

I hate it when I spend plenty of time making sure my players are healthy and my starting roster is SET leading into the new week, then on Tuesday I read that one of my players has a sore arm and won't pitch all week.

I hate it when others think they are so smart in this game and they are not.

I hate it when others think they are so smart in this game and they are.

I hate it when I've showered and then later I still find wet sand in my ears or belly button.

I hate it when a great tv show runs 1 season too long... Prison Break. If you've never seen it, watch season 1.

I hate it when a player I drafted last year and missed out on this year is having his breakout season... Adam Jones.

I hate it when my stomach hurts

I hate it when my players are injured

I hate it when itunes and directv charge extra for anything in HD

I hate it that Rachel Alexandra's odds were 8-5 yesterday when I placed my bet. It's rare I bet on the favorite and I thought she was 3-1 earlier in the week.

I hate it when your wife gets pregnant and the due date is a week before the nffc main.

time is up. good thread. out.

I hate it when people post threads about what they hate.
