The Pirates are now officially a AAA franchise. Pretty sad when the Washington Nationals appear to have more major league talent.

i got adrian on my team and im a sox fan.. so im rooting hard for it to happen.

You should stand up an applaud Neil for having the balls to do this. Most General Manger's would fear the loss of his job.



History will record weather he is right or wrong and it's his job that will be on the line in 2 years based upon the results.

I thought that the Sanchez for Alderson was a good deal. Alderson was a top 60 prospect. If he ends up as a #3 type starter, it is a steal for Sanchez who is injury prone and doesnt produce a ton despite the good avg.



I dont know why they got rid of Nyjer since presumably he was under control for many more years.



I didnt like the McLouth deal but Morton has shown some flashes as a Pirate.
