March 20th, Flamingo Thanks Bryan. This is a perfect example of why we are offering two weekends for the NFBC main event this year. Bryan e-mailed me yesterday and said that he couldn't draft on the 27th because of work restrictions, but he's happy to join us again for March Madness and draft on the 20th, knowing that everyone drafting with him in that league has the same advantages and disadvantages. We're glad to still keep you in the NFBC main Bryan and I promise we'll have a great, great weekend in Las Vegas.

Hope you can budget an extra night of post-draft cocktails and **** talk! :D

Amazing you guys can find these pictures.

We are booked Saturday night at the Bellagio, but if I stay for a draft on Sunday, I can see the same scenario playing out.

I learned a lot by watching Jack Benny as a kid. :D

I'm anxious to meet several people that I only know through the Boards and staying Saturday night should provide enough time.

I heard it from a reliable source that Mrs. Quahogs is more excited about Draft Day in Las Vegas than Mr. Q himself!! :D Something about six days at the Bellagio went over pretty well for the Mrs., which means Stephen Jupinka is officially on the signup list for March 27th in Las Vegas!! Finally, some good news on the NFBC boards. Steve, all of the West Coast drafters will be happy to see you for the first time and unhappy when you land in their league!! :D Welcome to Sin City, my friend, and the Bellagio.
I'm betting you'll have several talks with yourself before making all the arrangements for Vegas.

All the sharks jumping out of the water, leaving you with more space and guppies  :D

I'm thinking the temptation will be too great and ultimately you go to NY. Just my two bits.

to maximize your chances at winning the 100K, you need to draft with as many guppies as possible.

I for one love the aggressive approach. It's time to flash some leg and beat the drum for more players.

Looking forward to meeting the west coasters - do these people really exist ? :D
I'm of the belief that all the decorated and renowned players in this contest owe it to themselves and the NFBC to be a part of the Las Vegas draft in this, the inaugural season of our contest's new regime. After all, Vegas is where the best of the best should be this season.

New York will certainly miss the Quahogs', the KOQ's, and the Gekko's.....but somehow we'll get over our disappointment of not being able to face off against the best and try to keep up the New York tradition without you guys. :(

We understand that you guys SHOULD be in Vegas.

Sighhhh.

PS....anyone else not mentioned that has won a NY league title should go to Vegas as well....thank you in advance.

I remember when David Didonato won the Overall, the post league assignment talk was that his particular league was one of the toughest in Vegas that year. I would also add at that time DD was a second year player who hadn't established himself yet, and would probably have been considered one of the Guppies. As well, LV8 this past season which Lindy dominated was no walk in the park either. It too was considered to be one of the toughest leagues this year. Perhaps it's safer to say, nail it-the draft that is, or get nailed! I've done both and I tell you this, it didn't matter how big or small the fish were in the pond. I look forward to meeting you and as Dan Kenyon likes to say, 'all the other 800 pound gorilla's' from New York-Chicago-Florida. It will be a good time.
