Dedicated $1300/$650 Auctions

Hi,

Greg let me know that they won't have these this year, but would consider doing a special 'bump up' for a league within the Auction Championship construct. This shows a lot of flexbility, but I am curious, am I the only one missing the demise of these auctions?

I'm with you Spy. I prefer the dedicated auction leagues rather than the new format. I'd have to think we could still fill a mixed $1300 in NYC???

i'd like an auction format that would keep us in the auction championship, but add 100% of the extra monies to the league payout.

i'd like to play in only two weekly manage leagues this year, main event and a $1,300 auction.

Ummmm Gekko....I thought you were Vegas bound this year.

I'm counting on most of the accomplished players heading out west this year.....

Glenn glenn - all depends on the airline prices. they started out at $600 for a direct from philly to vegas. they are now down to about $500. if they get in the $300's, i'm vegas bound. without that, i'm likely headed to NY

I can't see how you can tie in additional monies into the auction championship format. The leagues for that championship are supposed to be made up of random owners. Putting 15 preselected owners into one league can not happen under this format. However, if all of the owners in a randomly selected league decided to do something like that, I think it would be possible. What are the chances of that though.

Maybe just another $1300 or less $$$$ league should be created.

Maybe I hook you up with a flight and you make a donation to the Boys N Girls Club my favorite charity. 2) I may have some room in a suite at the Bellagio and cut your hotel cost. My friends and family do not exactly jump at the chance of joining me out there for this. Either way we can talk after the new year.
