Slow Drafts allow owners to participate in a league without being tied to their computers. Owners get 12 hours to make their pick and each pick from every other owner is emailed to you, so that you can keep up with the draft on your Blackberry or smart phone device. It's a fun, fun way of drafting so early in the season.
The Draft Champions format is 45 rounds with no in-season free agent moves. What you draft is what you get all season long. You still make weekly lineup changes, but you don't have to worry about any Sunday free agent pickups. The best drafter is rewarded in this format.
Here's the list of each event and the current signup lists:

Here's another offering I'll make to the NFBC audience. We can do a 30-round NFBC $125 Slow Draft that plays out just like any other NFBC Satellite league during the season. So this offering allows you to make FAAB pickups during the season and run your team just like you normally would in any NFBC Satellite League, but we'll draft 30 rounds in a Slow Draft fashion to get the season started and we'll pay the Top 2. This format will pay a free entry in the 2011 NFBC Classic live event next year ($1300 value) and $200 to the second place finisher Here's the offering and we'll take signups here:
