i'm not planning to. but if either of them present some good value (both of them have an adp of the 5th round btw), i'd probably do so.

Glenn his adp is 5th round right now Glenn.

of course, profit potential is diminishing. i know shandler said he could go 20/40 this year. i expect mccutchen to be on all of shandler's teams

Glenn sorry to hear that. have a auction proxy till you can get there :D
[/QUOTE]4PM isn't too early, it's too late....I would need the auction to be no later than noon to have enough time to make my commitment.

Its OK....I was probably easy dead money anyway..... (throwing out bone)....

if you were to wait until 8th or 9th rd for a starting pitcher, who do you hope is there?

if he's my first SP, the guy has to get me some K's. looking at adp...

i'd think about someone like

Wandy Rodriguez

or

Matt Garza

Billingsley is someone i loved last year. i felt he burnt me. may be i'm a little biased here, but he's after those guys on my list this year

Aloha GG,

You've touched on positional scarcity in a couple of other responses.

1) What position appears shallow but actually has surprising depth?

2) The converse, what position appears deep but actually drops of quicker than most realize?

Cheers!

Using the same this year or next year breakout formula.....is this Billingsly's year to put it all together?

Glenn burn me last year, it's a little tough to love you the same this year. watch Billinglsey go out an win the Cy Young (which I thought he had a good chance last year) :D

speaking of kershaw, i got him in 16th rd last yr in online champ, of course i also took sabathia/webb/hamels/lidge from picks 3-6.

i felt that most would load up on offense and i could get some good hitters later since there are only 12 participants.

besides j. werth (8th rd), bourn (20th), and y. escobar (23rd) my plan didn't work out so good.

was this bad strategy or just bad luck?

or perhaps i just suck! i've strongly considered this possibility.

forgot the maxim about pitching,,,always iffy,,,one injury 2 underperforming out of 4 picks,,,there is a reason they say hitters are more dependable
