Fanball Pro meeting in LV

Post by Walla Walla » Fri Jan 29, 2010 6:29 pm

Just to share.

Thursday, March 25, 2010

7:30am Exhibits Open

Continental Breakfast

8:30am The New Frontier For Sports: International

The latest Fantasy Sports Association survey shows that 22 percent of all adults in the United Kingdom have played fantasy sports in the past year, a much higher incidence than in the U.S. The passion for fantasy soccer in the UK is as strong as the passion for fantasy football in America. So with fans now consuming sports in a variety of mediums in a number of countries, often simultaneously, it’s a challenge to develop a media strategy that reaches abroad. But our panel of experts will show you what works and how you can reach this global market.

9:15am The Brand Side: Perspective on Sponsor Integration

Surveys have shown that in every consumer category, the fantasy sports player is a more voracious consumer than the average sports fan or the general population. Surveys also show this is an ideal demographic for advertisers with males 25-45 making up the vast majority of players. So why is it so tough to convince those on Madison Avenue to spend money in this space? We’ll talk to several company executives who have excelled in this space and find out what they know that their competitors don’t. In this session, you’ll hear how brand marketers are revamping their strategies in an effort to capitalize on sponsorships, how they coordinate their strategies between the various properties, and how they measure success.

11:30am Lunch

1:00pm Going Wireless: The future of mobile hand held devices.

This panel of mobile insiders will discuss the latest developments in the mobile sports market, including mobile marketing initiatives, portable devices and other mobile-related innovations and revenue-generating opportunities.

1:45pm Fantasy Sports On TV: Where Does It Go From Here?

ESPN is the first network to fully embrace fantasy sports, which is great for the entire industry. But there’s still a lot more airtime out there, like the league networks, that ignore fantasy sports for the most part. It’s better than it was just five short years ago, but it should be better five years from now, right? This panel analyzes where fantasy sports is on the airwaves today, where it will be this year and what the future holds for this industry on national television.

2:30pm The Blogshpere: Blogging Super Panel

This panel will discuss topics such as the different kinds of sports blogs, what makes a good (and bad!) sports blog, the importance of adapting to an ever-changing environment, and the role sports blogs play in today’s world of content publishing. And of course we’ll talk about that topic every new sports blogger wants to learn more about – just how does someone get paid to write about sports, anyway?

This makes one feel more like cattle than customer.

Stop on by to meet some of our NFL stars who will be attending...if you come to Las Vegas this year. You are trying your hand again in this contest, aren't you??

Will this be at the hotel? The debut Interactive Sports Conference will be at the Bellagio in the same area as the NFBC that weekend. Ryan and myself are setting up residency in Nevada for the month of March. :D
