Knowing this league is veteran laden, ans also knowing I will have a shiny buzz going by first pick today...I just wondered if it was at all unethical to try and try to guess any "funky draft strategies" I may see formulating as the draft unfolds, and put my comments on the little box in MDC?

Will this fun guessing game cause ill-will, or am I free to blab!?

I think I may have gotten a weeee bit in over my head here. I think I'll call in sick.

Maybe I should have tried getting in Ryan's Rookie League instead.

My approach tonight is to keep my computer online for the whole draft. I've bought flowers and blew it out with an air can.

Side note...for those with the newborn. I have a funny "mind game" I use to never get upset with a baby that is being conditioned to cry themselves to sleep vs. being held all the time.

I imagine a BIG (like 4 feet across) balloon. When you have a balloon and pinch the opening shut, but let out a little air...it squeals out noise.

I imagine the child as that big ballon, squealing out some of the air, as the balloon slowly shrinks in size, until the last of the air has run out, and the baby is pleasantly sleeping.

Works for me.

I really like your team Eddie, and would trade you in a heartbeat. There are a few more teams I like much more than my own now that I had a cup of coffee and looked over the draft.

Ahhh, well...back to slow drafts for me! I was fumbling and bumbling the whole time. 4pm on the west is far too early to start a draft IMO. I had folks calling re: work still (still business hours) and had to sneak in diner with a short timer running. 5pm at the earliest, and 6pm even better, but then I guess it would get late on the east. Running late is far less of a problem IMO than starting early.

This was my first draft in several weeks & it showed. It's tough enough going against sharks like the ones in this tank, but to do so while rusty.....ugh.

At least it's great draft prep for the big dogs coming up next month.

The only other saving grace was seeing the polka dotted bikini Jules wore to the Hot Tub. Of course, as luck would have it she was on the other side while I had a seat between Dough & Walla....and neither one believes in wearing suits in a sauna.

I may be scarred for life.

In all seriousness, great job everybody and see you in another month.
