The Mets have lowered the height of Citi Field's direct center-field wall from 16 feet to eight feet.

...and the walls, come tumblin' down

Too bad most of Wright's HR's go to Left and Left Center where the walls will still be 12-15 feet high. I think it probably helps Bay and Beltran more than Wright.

Lowering the wall is going to help Met hitter, a very little bit(maybe 10 more HR for the team in a season). But i was at 2 games last season where Wright hit the higher center field wall in front of the Apple, that should have been HR. Met's Management still is clueless about their own team.

Can a guy have an adp of 13, have a full 200 post message board thread defending picking him at 7, and still be a sleeper? Maybe...just wondering out loud.

FWIW, this thread must have an agenda...

But I am pretty sure the wording was more pun-ish...

If D wright was going around the 2/3 turn, then you might onto something..But as it was already brought above, 1st rd ADP 13 isnt what i would call a sleeper.... And that was Sat league ADP...Not last weekends ADP. I would love to know where D wright went in last weeks drafts.... But I am sure most will be silent on that...

For someone who sat at Citifield last night and looked out over the field - rather than lower the fence, they should have brought them in at least 16...

Wright will rebound, but 30 HR will be tough!

Wright of course will rebound. I too was at Citi Friday and Saturday and spoke to a few security people and workers there. All told me the wind is constantly blowing left to right almost daily even in summer, He will be a legit 1st rounder but taper HR expectations. Hope for the road HR's if he truly has regained the stroke. Ditto on SB's batting ahead of Bay. Just an opinion.
