Auction Championship

Post by Auction King » Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:51 am

Hi Greg,

I am one of those people sitting on the fence, not because of any questions about the NFBC but more in regards to the Auction Championships. It looks like there are 133 people out of 150 signed up, but it looks like multiple times are not going to get filled.

At what point do these get consolidated? For example, the second week in Vegas, it looks like 17 owners in the am and 23 in the pm on Friday, are those both guaranteed to get to two leagues each?

Are some of the auction leagues going to turn into conference calls because of how people are split out between the various times and cities?

Any idea how this shakes out so I can set my travel plans accordingly.

Thanks.

there may be more people like you. however, if you all sign up NOW, Greg can better forecast what will happen.

Thanks. Correct, some of these will be consolidated shortly. We just met on that yesterday and I think you can plainly see where we'll have eight full auction leagues shortly and then we'll have to consolidate into two more after that. We are making phone calls today to do just that so that folks don't get shut out. I can actually see the Auction Championship selling out before the main event and when that happens we'll be happy to move onto another event. We are working to pull off some of these venues/times that are full now to prevent any more signups at those full times.

So yes, we will consolidate these as early as today and show the 10 or 11 leagues that will fill and then move on. I think 5 have one or two spots left, so don't delay. The Auction Championship has been a success and we even filled two $1300 private auction leagues, so all around it's been good.

Thanks and email me at [email protected] if you have more specific questions about any location and time. I think we know which dates and times are going to be a go.
