Auction Championship Spots Are Going Fast

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Feb 17, 2010 3:28 am

Okay, we already have four full leagues for the Auction Championship as we filled two of them last night. We will definitely close out those draft dates at the Flamingo and Bally's and move on. Our goal is 10 leagues and if we get 10 full leagues we are more than happy to close this event off and move on to the other events. We are not offering second leagues at those same times in those same cities.

We are within two spots of filling up three more leagues in New York and Chicago and the second league at the Bellagio on Friday afternoon is also on pace for a sellout. So things are looking good there.

If you see a time that fits your schedule and is close to filling, SIGN UP NOW!! Again, we are not offering a second league at that time in any other city than Las Vegas Bellagio on Friday afternoon. We are going to take these times and dates off the signup page once they fill and are in the process of doing that so that we don't get additional signups for leagues that are already filled. We also are running payments for these auction leagues that are full or very close to filling.

Below is the current signup list for events that have a chance of filling. Again, sign up soon if you want a spot in any of these because once they are full they are DONE. Thanks all.

Greg,

If needed would you combine two cities? For example on Sunday between NY and LV there are 10 right now. If we can't fill full leagues will you combine? Thanks

Jason I do not think so. We need to sell those out in the cities themselves. Teleconference auction leagues are not easy to do. Trust me, we've tried them before.

We just sold out the New York Friday, March 26th 10 am Auction Championship League and won't add another one at that time. Great job all. Here's the signup list for that one:

NEW YORK

Friday, March 26, 10 a.m. ET

1. John Sisto, New Rochelle, New York

2. Joseph Anello, Howard Beach, New York

3. Anthony Palavis, Weirton, West Virginia

4. Danny Mitlof, Congers, New York

5. Lopi Asch, Brooklyn, New York

6. Jeff Dobies, Farmingville, New York

7. Larry Schechter, Rexford, New York

8. Adam Lippert, Brooklyn, New York

9. Tom Sudol, Floral Park, New York

10. Arthur Szyr, Staten Island, New York

11. Joe Kruk, Levittown, New York

12. Chris Throop, Boston, MA

13. RT Davis, Counsell Grove, Kansas

14. Justin Sherman, East Patchogue, New York

15. Aaron Smith, Wakefield, Rhode Island

We have TWO SPOTS LEFT for the 4 pm one at $1300 as those boys want a little bigger league prize payout. We then have spots open on Sunday at 1 pm. Let's have fun with that one. Tout Wars is doing a 15-team mixed auction league in that same room that starts at 9 or 10 am and folks can come early and see what those prices are going for before they dig in and bid with us!!

This should be a BLAST.

It also looks like the Friday afternoon Auction Championship in Chicago is filled. We have 15 teams right now with one team listed as tentative. But I think it's a go and that would close out that auction league in Chicago. I don't think we can add another one in the Windy City as demand isn't there right now, but we'll do our best to fill up the rest of the main event spots and the Live Double Plays. Good job Windy City and we'll finalize this tomorrow.

Glenn Schroter signed up for the Las Vegas Auction Championship from Jamaica today and JT Visco slid over from the 9 am to the 4 pm auction, leaving us now with ONLY TWO SPOTS LEFT for the March 26th Auction Championship at the Bellagio. We will close out this date and time once we get to 30 teams and we have 28 teams now. The only time slot left after that then will be the Sunday, March 28th Auction Championship starting at 10 am. I still really want to fill that time slot up, so once Friday is filled we can turn our attention to that morning auction.

Here's the lineup card for this one and SIGN UP NOW if you want a spot here:

There is now just ONE SPOT LEFT for the Auction Championship on Friday, March 26th at 4 pm at the Bellagio. This is the last available spot for that time and day in Las Vegas because we will then have three auctions going on at once. That should be a wild day with the $1300 AL Auction League also going on.

Okay, who wants to join this group? We'll mix these 30 names up to form two leagues. Good luck all and thanks for the record signups:

We are working on an auction league at Bally's right now on Sunday. Come to Atlantic City on Saturday morning, do the main event at 1, do the Live Double Play at 7 (we'll get this one done for you)and do the auction championship on Sunday. Seems like a good week of fun to me and you don't have to miss work on Friday. Am I missing something or doesn't that work?

You waited on AC a bit, but I still see three events for you if you're really serious about it. Are you?

[/QUOTmay be dumb, but I'm not stupidE]Eddie, if you can get 15 more people for an auction league at any time I'll run it. I . Let's do it.

Greg for myself and Abb we have to leave right after the main the event so we can only do friday late afternoon or night.Abb is all set for the mix auction so that might be it.I guess the daily double still has a chance but been at five for 10 days. Will they do a Vegas Bally's together if it works.

Are you?
[/QUOTE]I butcherd that last one.I can only do friday afternoon as we are leaving right after the main draft.

Eddie - if it would help you out, I'll let you take my Auction spot on Friday in Atlantic City if Tom & Greg are ok with this.

With the intro of the DOUBLE PLAY packages, I'd prefer to channel some cash in that direction. If you are interested, please reachout to one of them. They'll just have to remove that team from my homepage.

Hope this helps pal.

Sack that would help me out big time as we have to leave [6 hour drive] right after the main event or i would have signed up for sat or sunday.Would you still do a mix auction that weekend cause i dont want to take the friday if that's the only one you can make.If this is possible that would work for me.

Sack my cell is 401 935 5993 we can figure this out.

Eddie:

Nobody registered as #16 for the Friday AC. I already have an Auction scheduled in Las Vegas, so I'm good. I'd prefer to add the DOUBLE PLAY events, now that they have introduced the $950 packages it should help sales and I'll have a few options.

All is good, big help to me as well. Thanks Eddie.
