Can We Fill An Ultimate Draft League On The Second Weekend?
Okay, we have full Super Leagues on March 21st and March 27th. We now have more interest in a Sunday Super or Ultimate league or both than at any point so far, so it's time to see if we can end up with two more private high-stakes leagues on Sunday, March 28th. Here's what we currently have:
NFBC ULTIMATE LEAGUE
Sunday, March 28, 1 pm ET, Noon CT, 10 am PT
1. David McDonald, Bay Village, Ohio (LV)
2. Joe Berg, Fullerton, California (LV)
3. Gino Yu, Torrance, California (P)
4. Donn Johnson, Atlanta, Georgia (LV)
5. Glenn Lowy (only Sat or Sun night)
6. Alan Salem
7. Philip McDonald
8. Robert Particelli
9. Avi Weisfogel
NFBC SUPER LEAGUE
Sunday, March 28, 1 pm ET, Noon CT, 10 am PT
1. Anson Chan, Fort Lee, New Jersey (NY)
2. Matthew Ross, Wakefield, Rhode Island (NY)
3. Henry Tang, San Francisco, California (LV)
4. Leonard Ringle, New York City (NY)
5. Rusty Clark, Centerville, Ohio (CHI)
6. Max Nisson, Henderson, Nevada (LV)
7. John Crane, College Place, Washington (LV)
8. Brent Grooms, Tallahassee, Florida (LV)
9. Ken Magner/Jim Christie, Freehold, New Jersey (LV)
10. Shawn Johnson Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (P)
11. George Kleemann, Palatine, Illinois (P)
12. David Deterra, Jamestown, Rhode Island (NY)
13. Gino Yu, Torrance, California (LV)
14. Craig Kielinski, Exton, Pennsylvania (P)
15. Joe Berg, Fullerton, California (LV)
16. Brian Ng, San Jose, California (P)
It looks like we have 22 unique names on this list. Gino Yu and Joe Berg are on both lists because they didn't want to get shut out of a Sunday event. Glenn Lowy is on the Ultimate list if it goes on Saturday or Sunday night, but will stay in the 27th Super League if that doesn't happen. So again, it looks like 22 unique names looking for at least another $2500 league on the 28th.
If you still have interest in one of these leagues, just let me know via email at [email protected] or on the boards here. We have a week or two before finalizing these, but it sure seems like we're close to a lot of fun on the 28th and I'd hate to leave some folks on the outside looking in. It's obvious from the names above that we have good interest in this and if we can make it work we definitely will.
Okay, let's see where this takes us and in the next 10 days we'll have a better answer on these leagues. The Super on the 21st is all set and draft picks will be selected soon, while the 27th Super League is also close to finalizing. Let's see where Sunday the 28th is headed and then get things really locked in. thanks all.

Greg, Tom, you guys forgot to list Craig K. in your last Ultimate signup list update (as a Saturday night or Sunday night drafter).
With he & Kevin Kirves, it brings us to 11 confirmed signups for one of these night drafts.
Let's find the Final Four to make this a go!
Damn Diamond drafters, don't any of you want another adrenaline rush while hearing your name in another NFBC draft spot video?

Greg, feel free to add me to the list. My tentative status is inching closer to definite. Again, can't do Sunday evening because of the ultimate auction but Saturday night or Sunday morning is fine. Thanks.

The X man is trying to dictate the time of the draft, which is fine but don't jam it down our throat.
This will sell out with the original draft time in tact and if they choose to change it so be it. I'll gladly back out to give you your space. The other folks at the Venetian won't give into your BS, enjoy your time with them.
X man, it's a little old and your status is understood, Give it a rest, it'll work out. Your people skills are comparable to
Walla Walla.......

Walla Walla....... Hey Joe, I understand you're brand new here. I also understand that it appears this Ultimate will be your only league. Hopefully, time frames will work out so that we can both be part of this league, I'm sure it'll be a blast.
To make my intentions clear, I'm not trying to dictate anything. In fact, I'm pretty positive I can't dictate what anyone else does when investing their own $5K. I'm merely hopeful that a league I've been excited about will fill at a time I'm available. If not, so is life.....I'm in over a dozen other leagues and I'll live.
That said, I've seen you call out others while trying to play message board cop on various threads. Not sure who you think you are exactly, but in response to your post above where you've decided to call me out and in the manner you chose to do so:
(Original text deleted to keep this a G-rated thread.)
By the way, welcome to the NFBC. I hope you enjoy your first year. I'm sure it'll end up being the first of many.

I see my name on the signup list for this Ultimate Draft League. I'm not sure where this came from, maybe it was from the X-Man but I am signed up for the Ultimate Auction and not the Ultimate Draft. Please remove me. If it is on Saturday night, I might consider but Sunday at 1PM EST is a negative for me.

Okay, it's time to see if we can still do this over the next week or not. We're trying our best for an Ultimate Draft League or even a fourth Super League, but let's see for sure.
I need to update some of these lists because some guys just couldn't do it all as originally planned. Here's what I have so far, I think:
NFBC ULTIMATE LEAGUE
Sunday, March 28, 1 pm ET, Noon CT, 10 am PT
1. David McDonald, Bay Village, Ohio (LV)
2. Joe Berg, Fullerton, California (LV)
3. Glenn Lowy (only Sat or Sun night)
4. Donn Johnson (only Sun night)
5. Alan Salem
6. Philip McDonald
7. Robert Particelli
8. Avi Weisfogel
9. Josh Blumenreich (only Sat night or Sun am)
NFBC SUPER LEAGUE
Sunday, March 28, 1 pm ET, Noon CT, 10 am PT
1. Anson Chan, Fort Lee, New Jersey (NY)
2. Matthew Ross, Wakefield, Rhode Island (NY)
3. Henry Tang, San Francisco, California (LV)
4. Leonard Ringle, New York City (NY)
5. Rusty Clark, Centerville, Ohio (CHI)
6. Max Nisson, Henderson, Nevada (LV)

13. Gino Yu, Torrance, California (LV)
14. Craig Kielinski, Exton, Pennsylvania (P)
15. Joe Berg, Fullerton, California (LV)
16. Brian Ng, San Jose, California (P)
I have heard from a few other owners who might be interested in a Super on Sunday if a second one could be put together. So we're just trying to make all of these puzzles fit before finalizing everything. Post here if you have interest or email me at [email protected]. Thanks all.

Not to speak for others, lest I get smacked down by Mr. Fast Money once again
, but Craig Kielinski posted above that he would join the Ultimate if it were held at night....
Just giving you a head's up Greg.

Sunday night only actually. Saturday night I'm now doing a double play draft.
If Sunday night doesn't work, any chance we can do it online a couple days later or something? I'd prefer Sunday, just saying.

Have the ultimate auction beginning at 4 pm on Sunday. That will not end until late. Can do it Saturday anytime after the main or Sunday morning/early afternoon. I am ok trying to get this done at odd times if necessary. Good luck Greg.

What about before the 1PM Main Event? We're all playing that day I'd assume. Might be a touch early for the Vegas drafters though.....
PS...Greg, I think I saw somewhere that Kevin Kirves MIGHT be available Saturday night. Just another potential option for that draft time. Good luck making this all work out.

I have heard from a few other owners who might be interested in a Super on Sunday if a second one could be put together. So we're just trying to make all of these puzzles fit before finalizing everything. Post here if you have interest or email me at [email protected]. Thanks all. If anyone from the Super League on 3/28 is willing to move up to the Ultimate, I would like to take their spot
