I thought it would be nice to have one thread where suggestions for improvement can be made to the NFBC staff. First of all, let me say, I like the new graphical view to set a lineup. Well done guys.

I also have a few suggestions for improvement:

1. This is just a heads up - I currently don't have the ability to change my lineup for $125 Slowdraft Lge #12. I can go through the motions and move people around but when I click save, everything returns to how it was before.

2. One suggestion for improvement would be to decrease the size of the rows on the classical view of setting a lineup. It's hard to see your entire team while having to scroll so much (especially in a 45 player draft champions league).

3. I cannot figure out how to make changes to my Team Name. I wasn't able to do this prior to the draft. EDIT - I just figured this out. In the banner there are 3 options listed over top of the baseball field. Click "My Settings" and go from there.

I am glad all this was posted so soon as we have time to work out the kinks prior to the season.

Have there been any changes to the FAAB system from the Beta we used. KJ Duke had a great list of enhancements.

Any progress Greg? I hope this isn't put on the shelf until Football. Thanks

Can't save a line up either.

JR Towels only has UT eligibilty listed. No catching.

i just tried to make changes and save lineup and it keeps reverting back to previous lineup

I have the same problem - whether its in the graphic view or classic view, I can change my lineup, but as soon as I hit [save] it reverts to the old lineup.

Drafted a team on March 14th and there is still no rosters or anything loaded to our league yet.

I trust this will be all set to go by opening day but I wouldn't mind seeing the free agent list before the first FAAB(April 4th according to the rules), tough to research using the vote this draft page on MDC and trying to figure out who wasn't drafted. Being a first time player I just do not feel comfortable being this close to opening day and yet it seems like we are so far away software wise to being ready.

Again I do trust it will be fixed, just worried.

Is there a date you have to move forward to in order to see the change?

The software isn't 100 percent complete yet -- by no means is that the final product. Tech team is working on things.

Sorry that I haven't been around the board to answer these posts, but I'm being pulled in so many different directions right now that it isn't funny.

Sorry that I haven't been around the board to answer these posts, but I'm being pulled in so many different directions right now that it isn't funny. Geoff that sucks for you and you are obviously doing a great job. There is a TON of things not working properly. You and a lot of fanball employees should not be getting a lot of sleep between opening day. I cannot even set my lineups for my loaded leagues or even change my team name. I often click on something and nothing happens. Site sure is pretty looking though. Does not work worth a damn, but looks good.

“We have identified the save roster issue, and are working on the fix as we speak. The issue itself is not effecting everyone, and should be completely resolved by the end of the week.”

Thanks, guys. Season start in 10 days so I would hope there estimates are accurate. Although if it is taking to the end of this week to fix this lineup issue then how long will it take to fix all the other issues that will pop up?

[/QUOTE]I don't even have my team that I drafted in January loaded at least other have theirs to work out the bugs. Maybe by the time I get back from Vegas on Sunday something will have changed with that.

the funniest thing about all of this is there are only hundreds of users. maybe a thousand.

this isn't (insert big name corporate fantasy website) with millions of users.

it's disappointing to be this close to opening day and still have problems.

Select "My Settings" in the upper right followed by "Team Info" to the left of that.

Does that work?

I'm sure it would be nice to set your lineup 10 days before the start of the season, but I don't see it as a major problem. These guys have put a ton of work into a game for us. It's amazing to see how much negative press they get.

I just left the conference center where Greg and Ryan are working. Greg is bombarded with 100's of E-mails that can be answered by reading the messaged boards or looking at the rules.

They are aware of the problem. It just hasn't been corrected yet.

Shawn, I don't necessarily feel this is fair.

Greg, Tom, Ryan, Geoff....they all put their product out there and ask for our feedback, both prositive & negative.

I agree that at times our tone should be in a more constructive manner rather than the panicked negativity that sometimes comes out. However, if you can't point out issues on the message boards or an E-mail, where can you?

I'm sure our friends running this game for us realize that all we want is the product to be the best it can be....and I'm sure they want the same.

Shawn I respect you a ton and also respect the amount of hours being put into this event by Greg Tom Ryan Geoff and the rest of the Fanball team. I don't think the problem is necessarily being able to see rosters or update them 10 days in advance. I think it's the concern that things aren't working now and we only have 10 days to go and the powers that be will surely be tied up this weekend. If this issue is popping up then what issues will pop up that first FAAB period? People are having issues with the draft software still and now there are issues with rosters on the new layout. How are any of us supposed to feel as calm as you do that FAAB will run smoothly? I want to feel comfortable that it will be fine but with the way some things have gone it is hard to have that warm and fuzzy feeling.
