McCutchen SB going down/ RBI up??

Wonder how this plays into the projections of his steals (where his value is). Looks like a minor trade off of a few steals and runs for a few RBI's?

Pirates manager John Russell plans to have the pitcher bat eighth this season.

Under this plan, Ronny Cedeno will hit ninth. Perhaps the most interesting part of the arrangement, Russell plans to have Akinori Iwamura lead off while Andrew McCutchen will bat second. It's a minor surprise, but fantasy owners won't mind the extra ducks on the pond for McCutchen.

I think if anything this ups McCutchen's value a little. I don't see any major downgrade in SBs by hitting 2nd, but I do see about 7-10 more RBIs out of this from having two hitters in front of him.

Being a die hard Pirate fan since Clemente days.

Yea I am showing my age. Feel value goes up even more. More RBI's runs will be the same and since the lie up is still bad where they will have to manufacture runs, his SB's will not change. This is why I play fantasy baseball because each year I know my team is eliminated before the season starts lol.
