Here We Go!!!

Quack/Willy..absolutly agree...in the Diamond Challenge and the cheat game we could adjust any players so it was totally equal as every player was available for every team and I am SO glad they got rid of it-not the same animal here though...If they get this fixed soon they should not extend the deadline for roster moves. Team A being able to bench a pitcher that gets shelled in an early game today, by pushing the deadline back when Team B has a pitcher get shelled after the deadline and he can't take his pitcher out is not an acceptable solution...the deadline for changes should NOT be pushed back regardless. I know I would/will be sending Greg/Tom or whoever at NFBC an email with my changes on all my teams depending on how my FAAB might have went went if it was going to impact my active lineup BEFORE the deadline...they can always backdate changes but I would only think if that email was received by the team owner before the deadline...

Piggy dont think that will work in this case. Some people at work without internet access and dont even know who's on their team.

Ken,,,yep,,,like I said, they should have sent emails to the NFBC folks with changes thye wanted BEFORE they went to work or whatever with moves they wanted made, depending on who they got with FAAB or made arrangements with a friend...a bad break for them...and I would be pixxed off if I was in that boat...but you can't give some folks cheat games and possible not have that option for others if their pitchers go in the late games...

Ken, I understand...but an email could be sent saying "if I got player A put him in for player C" type of email...and sorry, but if your schedule for being able to make changes conflicts with the deadline, tough luck/sorry...thats the breaks...sucks but the deadline should not be changed for because it conflicts with some folks internet access ability...hell, maybe we should scrap week 1 FAABz altogether, I would like that more that allowing some cheat players for some teams and none for other teams...

Piggy I have 10 teams and depending on waivers its possible to end up with countless different lineups. It would take me to fri to compose an email of all possible lineup combinations i might have to use.

Didn't you say you met John week one of the draft weekends? (the previously nameless, faceless creature) :D

Did you meet him in his programming room doing code, or was he out on a trip, rather?

They were nowhere to be found last night as well?

Confident bunch.

Wouldn't running a test run show that secondary bids were run incorrectly?

Some messaage boards handle 1000,'s of people on them without missing a beat...why does this one bog down to a crawl with only a couple hundred? (I thought there were rooms full of servers?)

If I had to set an over under for errors (by topic, not incidence) reported by players uncaught by code writers...I'd lean toward setting it at 30.

Could someone make a list for old times sake, so we can all look back on 2010 and have a good laugh.

Of course everything will be ironed out soon, but it would still be a nice list.

OK...first pitches being tossed right now...time to fire up MLB.tv and crack a beer!

My only hope for today is not too many rain outs!!

"And...WE'RE OFF!!!" :D
