Suggestion: Mixer

This was my first NFBC and it was a blast! I have a suggestion that may be naive as I may have missed the memo: I would have liked some sort of a mixer where I could meet and chat with fellow afficionados or afflictionados as the case may be. It's a wonderful event and there were some limited opportunities to chat before and after; but I can't help thinking that some sort of an event to encourage interaction amongst participants would be well received.
