Or how about a no default entry into that area? If possible. I understand the C default load - the least sizable load takes the least amt of time. But what if I want to simply review my FA postings ? I'll have to wait on the lengthy hitters load up even if I just want to review or even look into the pitchers.

I'd almost prefer ANY position load first over catchers.

My preference is for the page to default to hitters, but pitchers would be fine too.

There just isn't that many names any more.

Why does it take so long to load?

Speaking of bad defaults, the fact that the free agent default plugs in the first alphabetical name on your roster when you submit a bid is just asking for trouble. Default to a blank or a please select player makes more sense. Thanks.

I'm not sure defaulting to All Hitters is the best solution. Where did it default to in past years?

Is Free Agents still loading slow today?

Is Free Agents still loading slow today? I think the vocal majority disagrees.

I'm in that camp, default to all hitters please.

Is Free Agents still loading slow today? I agree with default to all hitters. And the speed is slow. It's improved over the week but it is still slow.

STATS defaulted to all pitchers, but I agree should be hitters.

Yeah, feedback is key. This isn't getting done tomorrow, sorry, but I'll put it on the list and prioritize it this week for John's team. Let's get all of this done and get this working perfectly for you guys/gals so that Sundays are easier and more enjoyable. And Mondays. And Tuesdays. And Wednesdays. And Thursdays. And Fridays. And Saturdays. ;) Are you with me on this?

[/QUOTE]Good news. Please have default to the search screen and show your current FA FAAB bids. Don't open Hitters or Pitchers if possible to save time. it takes a long time for these screens to load!

thx

I want to talk with John and his team about this today. We won't change anything today. Let's not mess with the free agents before FAAB. We have to keep the momentum going with a good night tonight.

I have loaded free agents several times from work, home and even a home laptop. I know some folks said they were loading slowly, but each time for me Catchers took about 4-5 seconds to load and All Hitters 8 seconds to load. Hopefully it's not any slower for you.

Again, let me talk with John and see what we can do here.

Good thinking....if everything's working right now, lets wait until tomorrow to tweak. That's why you're in charge. ;)

One more tweak when the time comes, can we program FAAB so that we can delete a free agent transaction without saving it first? Right now everytime I change my mind before saving and hit delete, a popup box comes up saying that I have to save first, I have to close that box, then save the move, then delete the move.....basically creating four steps to make one. Its a minor inconvenience, but would seem simple enough to correct.

One major tweak to keep in mind is the way the drop for any move defaults to a player. It's defaulted to Pujols for me amongst other stars. I think this is a recipe for disaster and future headaches. It should default to nothing, and if no drop is saved, then a popup reminder should come up when someone tries to save the move.

Just a couple quick suggestions.

Thanks Greg....
