I swear I type the "r", but it sometimes doesn't show up. (and it never gets caught in spellcheck!!!)

DAAAAARRRRRRRRGH!

Plus I hate that "post was edited" attachment at the bottom for adding an "r"...folks may think I changed the entire post of Goodness forbid...cleaned a post up a bit! :D

Wow Dyv....self righteous much?

While I agree some of the attack posts towards Fanball, their tech team & Ryan in general have gotten a bit too personal, you just did to the players exactly what you said they shouldn't do to the contest providers.

If you feel that the contest providers are doing a good job, just say so. No need to put down others for their message...and especially not for spending their money how they see fit.

Good luck to you this season.

Glenn

I don't lack confidence or conviction, Glenn, and I'm not terribly afraid of taking a stand. It kind of felt like a gang mugging was going on.

Sorry if that came across wrong to you?

I just saw a number of posts this past week or so where people felt empowered to speak on behalf of the entire playerbase and I don't remember electing them to speak for me nor do I appreciate it.

Why does my strong stance and questions offend you? Did you go over the top at some point and feel called out over it? I'm not naming any names and I certainly didn't intend to point any of my self-righteous fingers at you.

Good luck to you as well, sir!

Nah Dyv, I guess I was just doing a bit of what I called you out on.....

I guess we've all gone over the top here and there.

Everyone's entitled to their opinions, including you, and I can respect that.

Catch you around the boards,

Glenn

lol, all good - I'm finishing up my taxes this afternoon and it's just not a pretty sight.

Nice to take a little break on the boards every now and then instead of trolling through receipt boxes for missed deductions

Catch you around the boards,

Glenn Careful Glenn, you haven't been around long enough to get in an MB battle with Dyv. He used to DOMINATE these boards before real life took a hold of him. We've missed his snarky, in-your-face posts these last few years, but it's good to have him back at times. He usually posts more when his teams are kicking ass, so I assume he's off to a good, confident start. :D Like I say, though, just be careful in your battles here because Dyv isn't afraid to use all of his bullets at once. ;)

If offered today, I'd take the full refund!

No cake, No lady's, Just the refund! No questions about the screwed up accounting at fanball. I promise. Just let me out of this Nightmare! What a joke of the promises broken so far. Brady will do the AL and NL auction. Nope. Diamond League will be done in a high roller suite. Nope. Great food will be served at the main event. Well if you were in the Navy maybe??? The new website will be great compare to that other site Stats.

Nope. I'll take the refund and call it a nice seven year run before the NFBC died with Fanball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[/QUOTE]Caution noted Greg....thanks for the head's up.

Still, if I were afraid of taking on the best at anything, would I have joined the NFBC? ;)

Dyv's alright though....just another person who loves this game and this contest and takes it as seriously as I do. Nothing wrong with that.

Glenn
