Walla Walla - if you owned the NFBC do you seriously think ANYONE would still be here? You'd be making a fool of yourself to yourself! You sir are an embarassment.

Your smiley faces at the end of unfunny, stupid and often inflammatory post are insults to both the people you insult and the rest of us who are trying to BUILD a community here.

Your insipid "refund" post was just the latest example of your negativity and utter disdain for everything that Greg and Tom stand for. You "care" about Greg and Tom so much - that in the midst of a crisis for their contests - you come on the boards and post the "refund" crap. And you have no shame about it! Well- it pissed this player off. Then you come on today with more nonsense - more hand grenade posts.

We have a lot of new players on board this season. A lot has gone wrong to kick things off. First time players are nervous and rather than help calm the waters you post nothing but garbage.

You should consider yourself very lucky that Greg and Tom still run this show - I doubt anyone else would put up with the stinkbombs you serve up on a regular basis. Stop pretending like you care about this place and the people who run it. That is the biggest joke of all.

Don't sweat it Ryan, I am sure he will probably say he isn't coming back next year for the umpteenth time.

And he wonders why no one takes him seriously?

No sweating here - but when is enough enough?

I thought John might have learned his lesson earlier this year when he was basically told publically on another board by a respected expert - exactly how he was regarded in those circles.

It seemed to really shake some sense into him and he actually had some very sincere reactions to it. Sadly - it didn't last.

Does anyone else think it was even remotely funny to yell "REFUND" in the middle of everything that has been going on? I wouldn't do that to my worst enemy. I certainly would never do it to a friend.

Chest - you can try to difuse this with a joke about my league - but at least I'm trying to bring something positive to the nfbc experience. Why do we have to keep enabling this nonsense.

Well for 3 reasons: 1) he writes it rile you up why let him succeed? 2) I have actually had a conversation with him and he is a good person. 3) I know a little bit about his background and if you had similar experiences you would be a little angry too.

As a long time member of our armed forces as well as an air traffic controller, in both sases, the result of incompetence = death...and I'd guess his tolerance of it has grown quite low.

I blame Doughboys. He told John his sordid humor was funny and John actually believed him. Now John acts like he has a free license to say whatever he wants, no matter who he hurts or what he damages. I agree, I don't work for people who are as hot and cold as John is. I don't work that way. I stay committed to a company and a project and work through the ups and downs. Tom and Geoff are the same way.

Some people just like to wallow (or was that Walla) in the past. I work on the today and try to build for the future. I don't have time to defend the NFBC on the boards. But I have personally answered hundreds and hundreds of emails of people asking why this or that and I'll take the time to explain the best I can. But MB rants, no, then YOU'RE FIRED. I'm happy where I'm at with the team we have in place and we're going to get this equal to last year's back-end and then better. And I hope we make that happen THIS WEEK.

Thanks for the offer John, but I stayed 21 years at my last job and I have 8 more to go here. Then you'll never hear from me again.

And just to add, I don't think any of this crap is funny on his part.

I don't remember John asking for a refund when I was running to the bar on Thursday night at the NCAA Viewing Party buying his orange juice and double vodka.

I don't remember John asking for a refund when he was having fun talking with Shawn, RT, Wayne, Chest and everyone else on Thursday night as I kept the free bar open for two more hours to accommodate our guys.

I don't remember John asking for a refund when Rex was the perfect auctioneer for the $1300 AL Auction League. I just remember him having fun and laughing at some of his own bids when he asked me to look over his team.

I don't remember John asking for a refund during the main event in the beautiful Bellagio Ballroom. In fact, I think John was very proud of how far WE have come as he's a Charter Member.

I don't remember John asking for a refund when he said he's probably never going to do a Double Play at 7 pm PT after the main event. He was tired, but I know he still enjoyed the draft.

I don't remember John asking for a refund after coming over to me on Sunday after another Double Play and thanking me for a great weekend.

And I know he didn't ask for a refund last week when he asked me to change his starting lineups because of our FAAB screwups. He complained about everyone else doing it, but I'm glad he took me up on the offer to get his DL'd guys who he had benched previously back on the bench.

John is a good guy and I think he knows I have put up with more of his indecisions than a man should. And I've put up with the message board antics and his shots at me and STATS for six years. Oh, and me and his shots at MDC.com. Yet, now they are good and our current stuff is crap. I get it. It's part of the John Plan.

Nothing is ever right or perfect. He loves the comraderie of the NFBC and we like having him. But I'm not trying to give people their money back, I'm trying to give them their money's worth. Yeah, we've erred and like Dyv said we've apologized and apologized. Now it's time to get sh*t done and make this right. I didn't have anything to do with his teams not being in first place, but it's time for everyone to move on and turn these boards from our self-Wallawing into productive days. We're getting this better and there is so much more that is going to get done soon.

Greg,

Just to correct a few things you stated.

You did not run to get me a drink. That happened 5 years ago. The main reason I was there Thursday was to pass some Show tickets off to a couple of other people. Rex did not run a perfect draft.

You don't stop an auction draft because some knucklehead can't keep up with his computer.

As far as Sunday. The only contact I had with you Sunday was trying to get a cup of coffee from the Diamond League room before the draft. I was drafting with the other poor guys across the room. I did not say I had a great weekend and at the moment you were just worried about chasing the rift raft out of the Diamond Draft room.

But other than that what you said was almost true.

Sunday, Ryan

Monday, Mark

Tuesday, John

Wow, who will it be tonight?

Ryan was good enough to finally make an appearance and apologize for all the shortcomings that Fanball has had and still has.

Mark did what probably a few other owners did and took the low road to winning.

John railed against how he is being persecuted and that he wants out of the NFBC or wants to own it. A contradiction that can only make sense to John :D

None of them did anything out of character.

Ryan, all about spinning

Mark, all about winning

John, all about sinning

These guys have done these things for years.

Nothing has changed and these last three nights won't change them. A good thing, I wouldn't want them to change.....Ok, maybe Ryan
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

- Your shorts didn't match your shirt.

- Team 4 in the auction took 1 second longer than they should have to nominate a player.

- The coffee wasn't Starbucks quality.

- The toilet paper in the bathrooms at the Bellagio were not double ply.

- The limes that were cut up for the Corona were 2 millimeters too large.

- I lost $5 playing BlackJack, and I should get a refund.

:D
