Got Smoak for $286 in a $500 satellite.

Based on some of the other prices I've seen, I can live with that.

Now lets hope the hype is met! :D

Didn't get Smoak anywhere, got Ike for $338 for my Super League team.....and I needed a corner bad.

Thank God I don't have to start Brandon Wood anymore!

Different player:

Ike was available in 2 leagues. I put in $255 in both, got him in one, runner up was $235. I was ATLEAST 3rd in the other, with Ike going for >$500 and runner up >$400

For what it is worth, smoaken and weep

I like Ike better than Smoak for "this year".

We'll see how it works out.

In my satellite league, Smoak was drafted. Davis went for a cool $750 with a $276 losing bid.

My other Satellite had Davis at $403 with a $221 runner-up. Smoak was a $301 tie.

First year for FAAB for me, these numbers make no sense to me. I'm sure they will at the end of the season.

Justin Smoak went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts on Wednesday and is 1-for-15 (.067) since being promoted.

ONLY A MATTER OF TIME UNTIL DAVIS IS CALLED BACK UP. They will not leave this kid out there to get eaten up by the wolves. Davis will come back and explode!!!

HAHAHA what a waste of FAAB $$$$ on Smoak. Ike Davis is the real deal and the one to get.

Anyone who has watched this kid play knows he is not over matched. Coaches do too as he has been intentionally walked a couple of times already.

If given the chance, Smoak will be fine. He is no Chris Davis. Watch him hit, he is poised and in control of the strike zone. 1 for 15 is hardly a big enough sample size to bring back Chris Davis.

Looking at box scores only is one sure fire way to finish out of the money. If so, Carols Silva and Livan Hernandez if they haven't been taken should be at the top of your FA list dirty dog
