IPhone/Live Stats Problem

Post by anpyanks » Sun May 16, 2010 2:58 pm

Anyone else having problems this year accessing the live scoring feature on the Iphone? I never had any problems in the past but this year with the new website it always gives me a forbidden message. Is it just me or has anyone else experienced similiar problems?

Is it just me or has anyone else experienced similiar problems? I have this same problem on my iPad. Here's the solution: on the top of the Live Scoring page is a line that reads "If you are having trouble connecting to live scoring try our other version". Click on the "try our other version" link, and you'll get a non-Flash live scoring update.

any ideas for droid users? Yes. Switch carriers from Verizon to Sprint on June 4th, and get the HTC EVO 4G.

The link is still broken if you try to access the live scoring through the menu rather than through a direct bookmark. I posted this a month ago and gave the solution. Jules thanked me. It was never fixed.

If you can't get to the page, the URL is missing "/my" and you have to manually add it in the right place.

If you CAN get to the page and it shows up but doesn't work, you click on the link to the "noswf" version like King of Queens says. SWF is the file extension for flash. For some reason the programmers named the page so they would know what its for while the lay user would have no clue. Thats just what programmers do.

If you're on the noflash page it works.

The Ipad works a little differently. The menu error doesn't occur but it still makes you click the "noflash" link.

Craig, your thoughts on the MLB At-Bat app on the iPad? I've been using it since April 30th, and I have found it to be the greatest way to follow games (without actually watching them) ever devised.
