Hey Guys,
I checked my stats this am and Scott Baker's 5 innings have not been added? Will these stats get added when the resume the game on Wednesday? Since the game went 5 innings and was suspended as opposed to cancelled, I would think the stats count.
Can you clarify.
Thanks,

Fish,
I do believe all stats are null and void and that game will be played from scratch at a time to be determined.

"The opener of a three-game series between the Yankees and Twins at Target Field was suspended due to rain with the scored tied 0-0 after five innings, and it will resume -- where it left off, at the start of the sixth inning -- on Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. CT."

Look for Baker's and all stats from the first five innings to be included tomorrow morning.

On the topic of the Twins-Yankees rainout, I have a question. The conclusion of yesterday's game is being played today. Only people with tickets to tonight's game can get in. If you had tickets yesterday, you don't get to see the conclusion of that game today.
Is this standard practice for rainouts? I'm unfamiliar with rainout procedures since I've spent the last 25 years enjoying the glories of the Metrodome.

yes the red sox had the same situation earlier in the year vs Tampa. the people with the following days tickets got to see the completion of the game and the regular scheduled game.

Keep in mind the whole rule about finishing these types of games is relatively new. It was not long ago, the stats of a suspended game would count but the game would be replayed from the beginning.
This is obviously different than a game that did not even reach 5 innings that is still wiped off the books. Ironically, our friend Grady Sizemore from another thread lost a HR because of a game like this.
I also believe the rule about the tickets is mandated by the league, but the home team has the ability to offer those impacted a deal for another game. Obviously, a team like Boston with so few tix available may not logistically be able to do so.
