He has had a "stiff neck" for 6 days now. That is all the info they are releasing. What are the other owners doing this week sitting or hoping and starting him.
With past history it's a little creepy.

With seven reserves total, I have in the past considered 1B a stable position and concentrated on getting a second 3B as my CM and using my reserves for MI, OF (if you have to start five of them, good chance one will get hurt), and pitchers.
This year that is burning me a bit as I do not have a decent back-up (Hinske) for Votto. I will probably start him and give an extra libation of rum to Jobu for luck.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
