I stayed out of the FanBall bashing earlier this year. I do think they bit off a more than they could chew when all the "promises" were made relative to how smooth things would be. Eventually things smoothed out with just a few exceptions. This coming weekend will be a true test of if lessons have been learned.
Just about every site has issues this weekend. Football and baseball together just seem to always create multiple delays/problems for a week or two. Live scoring hits the pause button. FAAB is slower. Trying to do things at the last second does not get done.
Given I refuse to let a fantasy game force me to change browsers {I still only use Firefox], I will probably be making my FAAB requests on Saturday. This will hopefully keep the frustration of getting a "script stopped" message every time I leave the Free Agent link.

I didn't see any emails or complaints on the boards, so I assume things went well. Did it for you?
I'm just asking because from our viewpoint it looked like things ran smoothly. And Mike is right, this first weekend ALWAYS was toughest on baseball as the site slowed down as football traffic picked up. But I don't think that happened this year with Fanball. Let me know and we'll watch it again this Sunday. Thanks all.

They aren't experiencing the same problems you are, Kenny. If you win a lot of money this year, get a new computer and get on Firefox or Google Chrome.

Ive got Google chrome and im not the only one having problems with the site being slow. Fanball had this issue for years and they just want to keep ignoring it. Lets Get Real and see if this can get this site improved for next year.

not firefox. I still have the "stopped script" problem and it is really frustrating but I have learned to live with it. The option of installing chrome exclusively for the NFBC just rubs me wrong. Technology should adapt to the marketplace and not have as their solution to change. It makes me consider leaving the NFBC next year but I am close to winning my first league and no way I will leave if that wins.
I st all my FAAB by Saturday evening. Mad a final check mid-day Sunday. The weekend seemed to be like every other weekend and that was good.
