Greg,

When you start the "Website Improvement for 2011" thread please add the following:

*Ability to sort live scoring categories

*Ability to set lineup as soon as FAAB is processed rather than waiting until 9PM EST.

*Set FA default to utility or P. Also allow us to change the drop down options without defaulting back to Catcher.

I'm sure there are many more but lets start this well in advance. Thanks

Jason I don’t even look at the clock. FAAB ends, I turn on Sunday Night Baseball, wait for Joe Morgan to make a combination of 10 brainless /’when I played’ comments (usually takes between 55-65min), then I set my lineup.
if you are really in a pinch and need help, PM me your username and password and who you like (or if you want me to pick someone, I'll try my best). really hate that fanball is putting owners in a position to give out usernames and passwords to other owners just so they can get pickups in.
Thanks for the offer GG. I didn't see this til now.

Finally hit well last week and need a perfect last week to finish 3rd, and it blows that I don't have a SS.

Sucks when you have a life on the weekends I guess. I only have one team that requires faab and I left myself ten minutes before we had to leave.

Congrats on all your continued success.

John, if you're going to continue to post here please refrain from dropping F bombs all over the place. Thank you.
First of all, we apologize to all NFBC owners for the one hour hiccup with free agents loading yesterday. I'm sure it was stressful for some of you who were also managing fantasy football teams or taking care of family business or had other plans that night. And I'm sure some of you -- well, obviously some of you by the posts here -- thought the worst of us and felt we'd never fix the problem. I understand all of that and we'll take the heat when we screw up. But fortunately we were able to get the FAAB back up in an hour and with two hours to spare before our Sunday deadline.

I thank those good owners who emailed or called me as soon as the problems happened and alerted us to the problem. We were able to see the problem and correct it.

But I don't appreciate those who acted as kids and dropped f-bombs on our boards and I've personally addressed those who did. Again, I understand the frustration. I understand how if you just left a 10-minute window on the entire week to pick up FAABs and that 10-minute window was closed that you'd be upset. So upset you might even email a former friend and ask him if he can help. So mad that as a person who has been in this industry 20+ years and deals with customers for a living that you might even call us to complain.

But no, some people decide to drop f-bombs on our boards like kids. I was actually hosting a 9-year-old's birthday party and saw more mature kids there. I know, I know, Greg is wrong again for blaming his customers for Fanball's bad. But as I called up this page to address the problem after conversing with IT, my wife came behind me to ask why I was working when we had a party going on. I was reading the f-bomb post and she said "what the hell are you reading?" Just work, honey, just work.

John and I go WAAAAAAAAYYY back in this industry so you think we'd know and respect each other, but today I'm not surprised by his post. That's not even close to the person I once knew. I understand what gives here. But going forward, I'm going to ask folks to be a little more mature when they are frustrated with the NFBC or Fanball or me. There are ways to handle these situations and posting f-bombs on a public forum isn't the best way. Copying those posts continuously to keep them front and center isn't the best way either. But again, I get it here. We get it.

I wish everyone the best of luck and I'm not looking for a big Fanball vs. customers debate. The customer is always right in my book. ANY hiccup to the product you paid for you have a right to bitch at me or Fanball. Again, the customer is always right, which is why I answered every phone call during my son's birtday party yesterday. You get the right when you pay for this product. But the customer should also be civil. And if you only have a 10-minute window to do something involving your very, very important team, then make plans to contact me or someone else if anything happens during that 10-minute window. I'm always available to help.

We've been partners in this contest for 7 years and have helped each other build this event. I'd hate to see us both tear it down, too. I know some folks would like to see that, but we are all going to continue to work hard this week and this off-season to make sure the NFBC continues to be the best it can be. Thanks for sticking with us and again we apologize for the hiccup yesterday. Some folks handled it better than others.
