Jaime Baird Wins $85,000 In NFBC Double Play

Congratulations to Jaime Baird of Cambridge, Ontario as he won both ends of the debut NFBC Double Play. Jaime led his Live Double Play team to the title to win $25,000 and his stats were also tops in the Online Double Play, giving him another $60,000 grand prize. This was the first year of the Double Play with 828 teams competing for the grand prize.

I believe this is Jaime's first year in the NFBC, but he jumped in with numerous teams and left with two league titles and one second place finish. His Layin' the Smack Down team finished with 113 league points, or 94.17% of available points. He also won an April 3 Online Double Play league, with that team finishing fifth overall. Two teams in the Top 5 overall of the Double Play is one heck of an accomplishment.
