Today was a significant day for Indians fans. South Korea took gold in the Asian Games beating Taiwan 9-3. Winning the gold means that Choo will receive a waiver from having to serve a mandatory military term.
Wild scenario here... if South Korea won, Choo gets a reprieve... if not, he must serve several years in the military during the prime of his career. Alot riding on one game.

i remember chan ho park was in a similar situation years ago and won as well. he didnt have to serve and the rest is history...a bum pitcher bouncing around the major leagues but won the most important game of his life for him and his teammates.
