NFBC St. Louis Main Event Update
Just a reminder that for the second straight year we will be hosting a first weekend event in St. Louis, Missouri at the Pujols 5 Restaurant. We are trying to fill one Auction Championship league for Friday, March 18th at 4 pm CT and one Live Double Play League that starts at 11 am CT. The Saturday, March 19th Main Event already has 10 registrants, leaving us with only FIVE SPOTS LEFT for a full league there.
My plan this year is to have that one full leage in the side room by itself. If we are able to get a second league this year, I've reserved another private back room in the restaurant for that league. There's no guarantee we will fill two Main Event leagues in St. Louis, so get in now if you want to compete there and after we have 15 teams it's very likely that we will either have hook up one league with another city or online league to fill that up or hopefully get 30 teams there. We can accommodate 30 teams, but no more in St. Louis.
I have a call into the Sheraton Westport for a small room block and will post an update here. Last year we had rooms for under $100 a night. This is a fun little area with restaurants and bars all right there and of course Pujols' 5 Restaurant as our host site.
We have workers lined up to handle this league in St. Louis and we'll likely handle food and beverage like we did last year. Folks enjoyed sticking around after the draft and ordering off the menu and sticking around to analyze the draft. That will be the plan for this year and we'll have food and drink on Friday as well.
Thanks all and we look forward to another good time in St. Louis.
Here's the current signup list for St. Louis and we'll update this one as we go.

NFBC St. Louis Main Event Update
The host hotel for St. Louis is the Sheraton Westport. This is a nice hotel and you can walk right over to the Pujols 5 Westport Grill. Right now the cost of a room is $99 for a king size bed and $109 for two queen beds. We can get this reduced if we have a room block of 10 or more nights and it certainly looks like demand is there. Let me know if you want me to secure that and I'll get it done.

Greg, sign Josh Honeycutt and me up for the live double play in St. Louis. I would take a hotel room at group rate.

People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

We now have one full Main Event league in St. Louis as we added three owners last night. Thanks all. We do have a second room at Pujols 5 Westport Grill for another league, so feel free to continue to make plans if you're heading to St. Louis. We'll do all we can to fill that league up or hook that league up with another city of drafters.

NFBC St. Louis Main Event Update
Greg: My brother would like a room at the Westport and I would like a separate room for Thursday and Friday nights, possibly Saturday night. Do I need to make these directly or are we going through you so the group can get a discount?

I'll call my contact there now and get that done. Hang tight for another day and we'll get that discount for you. Thanks.

I need to sign this contract today and then I'll post the room code. Everyone can call for reservations on their own after that. The number there is 314-878-1500. Thanks all.
