2011 NFBC In New York

Post by Tom Kessenich » Thu Jan 27, 2011 9:26 am

We're happy to be returning to Citi Field for the NFBC once again in 2010. We had a great time there last year and I'm looking forward to returning their as your host once again.

We had seven Classic leagues in New York last year along with five Live Double Play leagues and three Auction Championship leagues. We're looking to match those numbers and hopefully top them in 2011. So if the allure of coming to Citi Field or just hanging out with me is enough to get you fired up, then sign up today to secure your spot in New York. We're going to have a great time there in 2011. I believe I stayed in the Holiday inn last year. It was plenty cool, had a 24-hour gym, nothing too fancy. Good for anyone not wanting to break the bank just to stay a night.
We drove 22 miles, country around Farmington. Signs started appearing. THE MOST PHOTOGRAPHED BARN IN AMERICA. Cars, tour bus, cameras;postcards sold.

One thing we'll need to figure out is where any participants for the Super and Ultimate leagues will be drafting. If you are planning on drafting from home via teleconference let me know. If you are currently planning to draft live onsite let me know that as well.

It appears as though Mark Srebro's schedule has re-opened up. Brett Favre's fake retirements are more convincing.

BOTH issues are time blackholes, however they are trending in the right direction (albeit slower than one would like). Signing up for the auction was a result of that trend, as well as you signing up for the event. Your money is my money.

2. Rob Zamojski, New York, New York
Two spots left in the Sat. March 27th Live DP. Four owners - Eddy Betancourt, Roy Ericson, David Martino and myself returning from last year. Tom Brennan - thank you for taking your game to another day - you destroyed us last year. I'm coming back for redemption, since my Chase Utley/Jimmy Rollins/Pablo Sandoval led team from last year sucked ass!

Tom - please reserve the last spot in this league for Mark Srebro. He needs to have the option on the last spot in this league until he says he doesn't want it. He was in this league last year and I have a feeling if/when he commits to NY for 2011 and if he wants to play the DP he will need/take this spot as well. It's in your hands boys.

For me - this is my big league in the NFBC again this year. I'll be working the main event again this year, like I did last year, and then looking forward to my own live draft after you ME boys are finished.

Glad to see some guys returning and other great players like Michael Edelman, Raj Patel, Ante Meich and Mike Massotto here. No offense to the other names on the list - these are just names I recognize from past NFBC seasons.

Mark - I have reserved you a spot because if you want it you deserve it. Hope you come back. For anyone else thinking of jumping into a Live DP league - this one will be about the best you will find and if Mark claims his spot - there is only one chair left at the table.

Hello

This time slot was my first choice, but at the time I signed up it did not exist yet. I would actually prefer to move from Sunday if that's possible. It would be nice to try and defend this title.

Thanks Mark. While I am proud of that it is a little puny compared to 13-14 cashes :)
