STATS Inc To Return As Software Provider

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Jan 31, 2011 11:44 am

We're proud to announce that STATS Inc will return as the back-end provider for this contest in 2011 and beyond. STATS ran the back-end software for the NFBC and NFFC from 2004-2009 and is the perfect partner for this contest going forward. More details will come shortly, but we wanted everyone to know this as soon as possible.

STATS created many of the features that NFBC owners enjoyed in the past, such as an easy-to-use Conditional Bid setup, Live Standings for your league and overall standings that updated your position in real-time data, and a reliable FAAB process.

We are VERY excited to be working with STATS Inc again and we have every confidence in the world that 2011 will be a smooth ride for our customers. The back-end software is being dusted off as we speak and it's been tried and tested before. We believe 2011 will be a great season and we have plans for technological enhancements in the near future as well.

Stay tuned for more details as we're able to provide them, but at least you now know what the back-end software will look like and how it will perform. Thanks all for your patience and please welcome back our old friends from the Windy City!! Yes, Packer and Bear fans can coincide and work together well!! :D

You said you expected to make an announcement today, and you've done it. It definitely increases my confidence in you and the NFBC when you come through right on time. The substance of the announcement looks very good as well.

Bring on the season!

Customers should be rejoicing.

We got so used to STATS great product that when they had slightest of hiccups, it was enough to send Walla Walla into a quitting frenzy.

Now that Walla and the rest of us have seen another backend and their failings, well, picture in your mind 500 NFBC clowns departing from a VW Bug into a waiting line of limousines. That is what it will feel like going from Fanball back to STATS.

Way to go, Greg!

Greg, do you know if Mark Moehler still works for them?

This is great news as we were all happy with the stats service (almost all). It was very good.

Greg, When the move was made to Fanball you said Stats was getting out of the baseball website league providers service.. That Fanball had to provide thier own draft site. Was that a lie by fanball?

Next year do we kiss and make up with the pink bird? It really wasn't that bad a place and a hell of alot cheaper!

We drove 22 miles, country around Farmington. Signs started appearing. THE MOST PHOTOGRAPHED BARN IN AMERICA. Cars, tour bus, cameras;postcards sold.

No one sees the barn,

I honestly can't think of a company better suited to jump in and help the NFBC move on without a hiccup. STATS should be able to pick up right where they left off and only focus on discussed upgrades rather than having to start from scratch as many other backend providers would have had to do.

It's amazing that only a month ago there were fears that the NFBC would be no more. Now it looks like the NFBC is headed for greater heights than ever.

Great news all around.

Being new last year, I have no experience with stats inc. I really didn't think last year was all that bad with the exception of the first week and no live scoring. The fact that Greg is involved and many enjoyed the previous experience is good enough for me.

I hope I learned a lot last year and can apply it this year is all I'm hoping for.

Good Luck with your new venture Greg!!!!

Couldn't be happier about this. I wasn't around for any potential growing pains in 2004, but never had a problem with Stats. Always thought they were an excellent back-end provider and was sad to see fanball "fix" what wasn't broken last year. So glad to be back! Great choice, Greg! :D
