NFBC Main Event Now Has 275+ Signups: Less Than 115 Left!!
Just a quick update that the NFBC Main Event is now halfway full, with 195 signups in the system with a goal of 390 teams in 2011. That's 13 full leagues with a goal of 26 leagues!!! Last year we had 29 full leagues and at this pace we may reach or top that total. Let's keep it going.
Of those 195 signups, 75 are for the first weekend, which means we have 5 full leagues during that first weekend. Last year we had 120 teams that first weekend and again we are on a similar pace this year. Keep 'em coming.
The signups are very encouraging at a time when there was uncertainty for this event. There shouldn't be any uncertainty now as everything is in place for 2011 to be our best season ever and with STATS now in place as our back-end software partner. More details on all of that in the next two weeks, but again everything is in place for a smooth transition of ownership.
Thanks all for your patience and your support. We have something special here and it's obviously going to continue for a long, long time. Thanks.

NFBC Main Event Now Has 275+ Signups: Less Than 115 Left!!
Just a quick update that we had a fabulous week of signups as owners are transitioning from football to baseball and seeing that the NFBC is on solid ground. We now have more than 210 Main Event signups, including 80+ for that first weekend. Our goal is 390 signups, so we are well on our way to a seventh straight sellout. We can secure your spot if you have your travel plans ready and remember that we definitely won't hit any credit cards before Feb. 20th now. Thanks all.

Thanks for keeping Tom busy this weekend with all of the email signups and we are updating the official signup list now. We now have almost 230 Main Event signups, leaving us with around 160 spots to go. Remember that we are shooting for only 390 Main Event spots this year, so don't delay. Thanks all and just email Tom at [email protected] if you want to secure a spot in any event and on the 19th we'll have the Registration page back up.

NFBC Main Event Now Has 275+ Signups: Less Than 115 Left!!
Just a heads up that we now have 100 signups for the Main Event on the first weekend. We have to start watching that number as we get closer to March 19th and make sure we keep multiples of 15 overall and ideally in each city. That means that we can certainly take 5 more teams to reach 105 and eight full leagues and then after that we'll try to get each city to a perfect number.
Just keep that in mind once we get the Registration live again. If you want to secure a spot in the first weekend Main Event, contact me at [email protected] or Tom at [email protected] and we'll secure that spot for you.
Last year we had 120 Main Event teams on the first weekend enroute to a total of 435 Main Event teams. This is a good sign indeed. Thanks all.

Good Luck this year. Welcome back Ed and we're glad to have you back!! I agree with your wife, that first weekend trip to the Bellagio in Las Vegas during the first weekend of March Madness makes more sense than an online draft!!
At least for her.
Great to have you back and thanks.

NFBC Main Event Now Has 275+ Signups: Less Than 115 Left!!
We currently have 267 Main Event Signups, which means we have 123 spots left. We also have 104 signups for the first weekend's Main Event, which means we have ONE GUARANTEED SPOT LEFT to fill up a seventh full league. We'll obviously continue taking signups for the first weekend and try to fill up each city perfectly, but let's get to 105 first and then worry about 120. Thanks all.
Last year we had 120 teams for the Main Event on that first weekend and 435 overall. I like our prospects of selling out again this year, so keep 'em coming. We'll have the Registration live shortly at nfbc.stats.com and the Message Boards should transfer over there in the next day or two. Thanks all and contact me or Tom if you want to get added to the Main Event or any other leagues. Thanks.

NFBC Main Event Now Has 275+ Signups: Less Than 115 Left!!
Great job everyone with the signups last night. It certainly didn't take everyone long to find the new Registration area!!
We are cruising again.
It's going to take me and Tom a bit to update all of the signup threads after so many registrations came in last night, but I'm happy to report that we now have over 275 Main Event registrations and are on our way to another sellout of 390 teams. I feel good about the pace we're on, so grab a spot if you're coming back while they're still available.
We also have 108 signups now for the NFBC Main Event on the first weekend. We have room for 12 more teams before hitting an eighth full league, which is what we had last year. That would be a good start to the season. Don't delay there as we have limited spots in each city and we have a full league in St. Louis already. We won't take anymore there.
Thanks all and keep an eye on the Signup List and we'll reload the Signup Forum soon where Tom had all of the satellite leagues and Online Championship Leagues. Look for that soon.
