Deadline for Registering for Live Events

Greg, has there been a deadline set for the last day to register for each weekend of the live events?



What is the deadline to set our KDS for each weekend?



When is the date that leagues and draft orders will be announced? For leagues that are already full like the Diamond, Ultimates, & Supers, can we announce those this week?

When is the date that leagues and draft orders will be announced? For leagues that are already full like the Diamond, Ultimates, & Supers, can we announce those this week? The deadline for the Main Events will be the weekend before their drafts or when they sell out. So ideally we'd like to close those out the Saturday before the Main Events, get draft picks selected and announced and give everyone around 7 days to study for their draft choices. Last year we sold out the Main Event even before that and I believe we announced the draft picks more than a week before the live drafts.



The deadline for the first weekend Main Event would be Saturday, March 12th or we'll close it out sooner if we get full 15-team leagues the way we like it. We are already working on our ninth league and when we get to 135 it's possible we will close that out. We are shooting for 390 teams overall and when we get to that we could close it out then or expand beyond that slightly, with the additional revenue proportionately increasing the overall prize pool. So while I'd like to say our signup deadline for the second weekend Main Event is on March 19th, I'm pretty sure it will be before that.



We will announce KDS deadlines for each contest as we get close to filling up, but it's usually 2-3 days before our signup deadline so that we can then have everything in place to quickly announce leagues and draft orders. Stay tuned to the Message Boards and newsletters for those deadlines.



No on announcing the draft orders for those leagues. We haven't even started taking payments yet and we need to get that set up this week and let everyone know about our payment plans. You can't pick draft spots until all spots are secured. Secondly, I wouldn't pick these early anyway because it's important to keep that process close enough to Draft Day so that folks can process all of the injuries during the spring, etc. We'll try to pick those a week in advance, but likely not much more than that.
