Way to go guys, truly deserving. Strong character. Strong work.
Despite his greatness at actually, you know competing here in the NFBC, Mr. Jupinka also provides some of the most entertaining posts

Steve, Shawn, what sizes do you wear?

Well for the PIC HOF rockit I think Lowy would be a 1st ballot entrant. He has shown quite the "flare" as of late. Sorry Glenn, try getting rid of your old wardrobe in some other fashion !

Congrats Shawn and Steve!
Your accomplishments speak for themselves, setting the bar at the appropriate height for future inductees.
In addition, you both embody the spirit of friendship and camaraderie that is at the core of why all of us play this game in the first place.

Rather than having color-coordinated blazers we'll all hoist the same Corona!!
I know that Shawn would rather have a Coke, but I'll gladly drink his Corona after the pictures are done.
I'm glad our decision is being well received. The inaugural Hall of Fame class has to be something special. These two players are truly special. They deserve to stand out. And the best thing is that they both feel like they're not worthy, like they have so much yet to prove. They won't stop competing in the NFBC and won't stop trying until they win every single league they are, and then they'll still come back the next year. These are Hall of Famers now and I'm confident they will continue to be Hall of Famers for years to come.
The bar has been set and we all should strive to reach it. The bad news is that these guys may keep pushing the bar higher during the same time!!! Good luck all and CONGRATS Steve and Shawn.

A much deserved acknowledgement to both of your track records. See you both at breakfast, the YooHoo's on me! Actually, you better hedge your bet here and consider wearing rain gear!

AS much as I like Shawn I would have voted for Lindy Hinkelman. Sorry Shawn! You have been a spokesperson for another contest and a partner for Greg in two LABR leagues. I think Greg favored you from the start. Lindy won more money than anyone else in one year. Thats HOF!!!

well if it isn't the human HARRUMPH Why don't you put down the Haterade Johnnyboy?!
Both of these guys are stellar and deserve this honor. I don't know Lindy personally (and hope he wouldn't take offense of me saying this), but the guy caught lightning in a bottle that yr. He had a season of the ages that probably will never be duplicated, but he does not have the sustained level of success as either of these 2 gentlemen.
Who gives a shiznit about being a "spokesmen"? Shawn competes in fantasy sports, I didn't realize he signed a contract saying he would only compete in NFBC. More dumb logic. C'mon JC, you're better than this!

Lindy and Shawn is a good debate. Only debate on John Crane is if he is a bigger idiot or jerk? One that would require great debate.

This post and those that came after it should be deleted. It's simply not in the spirit of the game. They could've easily put each of the nominees in, they will get in down the road. To try to diminish the accomplishments of these two gentleman is downright silly.
Someone please delete the posts and lets continue to congratulate the incredible accomplishments.

It's an honor to be selected with a great player in Steve Jupinka. I was surprised by the decision to see only two. Steve really moved to the top of the class with his constancy and the overall title in 2010.
I'd like to thank everyone for their support. It really puts the pressure on me to come up big.
Thanks Greg for taking the time to do this.

Congratulations to both Steve and Shawn.
When I started playing fantasy baseball 3 years ago, these were the two names that most everyone talked about when it came to "fantasy baseball success".
Good to see them both getting their "due".

I will post pictures of our two Hall of Fame inductees as soon as I get them. For those of you who weren't in Las Vegas for the induction presentation, you missed two very smart, humble men feeling the love from the NFBC community. I know both of them wanted to low-key this award and not have to make a big speech, but it was fun to announce their accomplishments to the assembled group and to see the overwhelming prideful response from their peers.
I know both guys didn't expect to get emotional over this honor, but when they both looked out in the crowd and saw how everyone was being so respectful of their accomplishments and honoring what they've already accomplished, I know they each got a little choked up. It was great to see Steve up there with his big NFBC trophy and his Hall of Fame plaque feeling the love. I know he felt it and appreciated it. And Shawn had the same feeling.
You never know how you're going to feel until that moment arrives. And it was very cool to see both guys appreciate the moment and for all of our NFBC members enjoy the moment with them. Thanks all.
Both guys want to continue with their successes and they aren't resting on past laurels. But those laurels are soooooooooooo good that they needed to be honored now. And I'm glad we were able to do it. Here's to you Steve and Shawn: You really are the best through our first seven years. Now keep it going if you can!!
CONGRATS TO TWO GREAT CHAMPIONS!!

Great photo. I especially like that you're standing in front of Q's main event draft board (his team is on the far right).

Who's the fool that made the Manny pick tagged just to the left of Jupinka's mug?
All joking aside, great shot. Congrats again Steve, Shawn, an honor well deserved.

Hi,
Funny totally missed this the first time. Been a bit less on the boards this year.
Congrats to both!!!! Well deserved, I think excellent choices. And congrats to Greg for keeping the bar as high as he did. By keeping to only a couple, this makes this a really elite recognition
