Okay, we currently have 216 teams for the Live Double Play with a goal of 240 teams. We won't sell this event out this year, but of course the overall prize money is guaranteed. That means more money to the players and less to us. Bad on us!!!

But this has still been a great, great contest this year and I love the 12-team format. Next year we'll revise this one a bit and grow it big-time, but for now we're more than happy to have the format we have in place. Good luck to everyone in the Live Double Play as you have a great chance now at winning $70,000. Good luck all.

There has been a request for one last potential Live Double Play league. And I see that Scott Keikoan said he would play and Glenn Lowy has thrown his hat in the ring as well. So this puts us up to four owners. EIGHT SPOTS LEFT for a draft that will start in 24 hours. This is a Shut Up, Sit Down AND DRAFT type of Live Double Play!!! You'll get your draft slot just hours before the draft begins if we can fill it.

Looking forward to the battle Jim and Fourslot.....

It's funny, as of last night I was burnt out from drafting and glad the draft season was over. Now, after writing my draft reviews and reading so many from others, it's rekindled the flame.

I'm ready for one more!! I'm guessing there's got to be 5 others out there who are also not ready to wait until next March for their next baseball draft. C'mon guys, 12 months is a very long time.

OK, only 5 spots left for this great deal; one of the best and a chance at 70K against roughly 220 or so players; you won't get those types of odds anywhere in this game. 2K for league champion. 12 team league.

Gotta luv that this league was forgotten until late yesterday, posted on the boards as a maybe with less than 24 hours to fill it, and gets filled with half a day to spare.

It says a lot about what this contest and the people who play in it are about. Love it.
