RT and Spyhunter team

Hi,

RT and I did this team in NYC 2nd weekend draft.

C Russel Martin

C Alex Avila

1B Gaby Sanchez

2B Robinson Cano

3B Ian Stewart

SS Jose Reyes

1B/3B Mitch Moreland

2B/SS Rickie Weeks

OF Justin Upton

OF Curtis Granderson

OF Vernon Wells

OF Grady Sizemore

OF Michael MOrse

UT Lance Berkman

P Francisco Liriano

P Chris Carpenter

P Jermey Hellickson

P Brandan Morrow

P Derek Holland

P James McDonald

P Heath Bell

P Brandon Lyon

P Frank Francisco

B Brandon Webb

B Alexi Ogando

B Hideki Matsui

B Pat Burrell

B Brent Morel

B Melvin Mora

B Bartolo Colon

We somehow ended up with a 'bar bell' of both old vets who we hope will return to former glories and unproven high upside players. My worry is we have just way too much injury risk, but I guess on the other hand if everything comes together we will have quite a team (of course not till May as we have quite a few banged up players who may not play much in April)

Thoughts?

Chris,

It's too bad we didn't get much of a chance to review each other's squads after the draft. I really like your 1-3 start out of the gate with Robbie Cano, Jose Reyes and Justin Upton. I was targeting Cano in round one and Upton in round three and you beat me to both of them!

I concur with your self assessment that you have a dangerous level of injury risk. If you can keep your players on the field, your team will be very good.

Best of luck!

Spyhunter Big fan of both Gaby Sanchez and Mitch Moreland. I could see both of them posting close to .295, 80, 25, 80, 5 lines that could really boost this squad.
