A rookie American League pitcher in a hitter's park, in a division of hitter's parks, who'll pitch against the Yanks, Bosox, & Jays half a dozen times or more, with a league average K-rate, and Matusz due back in a month. $400 minimum. Hmmmm, sounds about right. :rolleyes:
In all seriousness, he is off to one helluva start. [/QUOTE]anyone who listens to GEKKO rhetoric should not play these games;

Gotta luv the big spenders early.... never understood blowing budget and handcuffing yourself for later in the year... I agree pricing rookie pitchers early is dicey. I for one will not be bidding anywhere close to 200-500 for this puppy.

I know it is still very early, but Zach Britton really has looked great so far. I am sure he will go through the normal bumps in the road that anybody in the MLB, let alone the AL East goes through, but I am not sure why he isn't owned in every league by now.

Zach Britton pitched his tail off once again tonight

Great young arm, even against the mighty Yankees. Hope they don't burn this kid out, but I don't see that happening because of the type of pitcher he is.
Thoughts on that...
