What the heck is wrong with you? Yesterday, you start the game for no reason, only to burn Bedard after throwing 15 pitches. Today, you have both starting pitchers warm up as you get ready to start the game, then you put the tarp on and call the game, probably making Pineda unable to start tomorrow. Nice work, idiots

It is the middle of May.
Last year, Major League Baseball had 21 rain outs all year.
This year, we already have had close to 30 and it's not even June.

C'mon now, that's a bit harsh...it was Hirshbeck who collected the lineup cards and wanted to play today!
And leave LeBron out of this!

It sounds like what the Cubs did last night. I was at the Giants Cubs game last night. Literally sheets of rain coming in from right field straight onto the batter, catcher and umpire's faces, absolutely ridiculous. That game should have never been played. And then when there is no rain in the forecast in Chicago this afternoon they cancel the game, because of field conditions...

Yay, and my wife and I drove 3 hours to Chicago yesterday to go to the Cubs game today. Woke up at 7:30 today in Schaumburg and we didn't get a sprinkle of rain all day. At least they called it at 10:30 a.m. before we headed to the city. I figured they tore the field up by playing through that crap for 2 hours Saturday night. Good thing we have family up there or that would have been a totally wasted trip.
