NFBC season called on account of rain

Post by Quahogs » Wed May 18, 2011 5:07 am

Since we didn't get the 4 1/2 in Greg I guess the NFBC season has been canceled. Can I get a refund on this season or a credit for any future NFBC season ? ;)

There's no way any agreement gets done until July at the earliest, which could kill a good fantasy football market.

Good try on baseball, but I'm already depressed from the news in football. Don't scare me anymore than that!!!

Speaking of rain, I'm a father of a high school girl who is on the JV softball team. This spring there have been more rainouts than games played and the games that have been played have either been in snow, rain, high winds or a mix of all three. They've tried playing through it all and as a proud parent I've been to every game and sat through more miserable weather than during the Packers' home games. It's just miserable and of course long with every continued walk.

So to try to catch up, we played three games on Saturday in 40 degree rain and 30 mph winds, two games on Monday in similar conditions and two games last night. Another doubleheader upcoming this week and then mercifully it will be over. I love the girls and I love the participation, but I go there just hoping they will be done in less than 2 hours!!! :D BRUTAL, BRUTAL SPRING up here in the Midwest, but I still feel lucky after watching all the flooding in the South. Good luck to all of you caught in the storm of the Mighty Mississippi.

Need to start a fantasy weatther league. Catagories are precipitaion, temp, max wind speed pollen count. Draft or auction different cities. If people will do fantasy Nascar, golf or fishing, they'll do anything.
