Liriano - No-No Again????

Post by Glenneration X » Sun Jun 12, 2011 8:39 am

Could it be that Liriano's about to toss his 2nd no-hitter this season, with him sitting on my bench for both of them???

Why do I even play this game?

Glenn, you are a way better fantasy player than me, but what was your reasoning behind the benching? He had two starts this week, I'm sure you drafted him early ish. You gotta roll with what you got, right?

Agreed money. I was just looking for a saber metric answer that I got no knowlege of. If not, I feel

Better. God knows I've made lineup mistakes all stinking year.

Dylan, it was nothing more than he was coming off an injury, was still not 100% confirmed to make his Tuesday start when I set my lineups, and I thought I had better options. I was obviously wrong and made a mistake. Happens, I just get grumpy when it does.

Good luck the rest of the year and thanks to you and Joe for the compliment.

Good luck the rest of the year and thanks to you and Joe for the compliment. I did the exact same thing for the exact same reason...I thought my better option was...Colby Lewis

I did have him in for the first no-hitter, though.

I'd take this Liriano start over the no hitter any day of the week and twice on Sunday!! This is by far his best start of the year and why owners drafted him.

Unfortunately, I also had Colby Lewis starting for me this week so it all evens out.
