Kudos to STATS for creating that pulldown area where you can see the top two teams in every NFBC Auction League and the Ultimate Leagues on the home page. When I asked them to somehow figure a way to put the leaders on the home page, I had no idea how we were going to do the NFBC Top 10, the league-by-league point totals and the 12 side leagues. Man, they figured it out and I like it.

Each day the NFBC's overall Top 10 is updated on the home page, so don't forget to check that out each morning. Right now the first place team has 86.6 percent of the available points. Wow. Do you think that will hold up?

Anyway, we'll spice up the home page with new Draft Day photos soon and possibly add a link to a series of Draft Day photos and video down the line. We have all of that, it's just that we haven't gotten them online yet. Coming soon, I promise.

Continued good luck to everyone. It's fun to check out all of the league races each day, and I can't even win anything! Have fun the rest of the way.

Good job on the site updates STATS.

I'd like to make another request. It's actually one I made last year as well. Would it be possible to keep real-time standings? Since real-time stats are being generated, wouldn't it be possible to also keep track of real-time standings, both overall and league, so that NFBC participants can see where they stand as the action is happening? This is a feature that exists in yahoo leagues, so I would imagine it's within the realm of possibility to be achieved here.

Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? Excellent suggestion.

As messed up as WCOFB league management was last year, that was one feature that TSN offered and it was great to have.

Currently Stats can split the realtime page and show your team and another team. Another option could be to split the page and show the league standings (totals only) on 1 side and your team on the other side. That would be awesome.

[/QUOTE]That's not a bad idea...

Another idea...

In another gray box below the current three of:

1) Today

2) Previous

3) This period

add:

4) Live League Standings

5) Overall Current Rank (don't list all teams, just your teams latest overall rank with maybe a +/- from the prior day)

Ex: Oceans23 LV2 56 +23 today

All very good ideas.

For simplicities sake, though, I like the way Yahoo does this. They simply have a single java applet that keeps a running tab of every team's daily stats along with the real-time standings for every team. The applet is updated on the fly, without user intervention, and adjusts standings and stats while games progress. In our system, you can only compare your team to one other team at a time. And even then, the stats are in paragraph format, as opposed to in an easy to read (compare) spreadsheet format. Seem's a bit 1999ish.

Hey, I'm fine with what we got. But I know Greg is always asking how the NFBC can be improved, and I personally think how the web site manages our stats is the #1 thing to be improved. If not for this year, then for next. And if it can't be done, so be it.

I'm in a league on Allstar Stats that has real-time standings and it's addicting and fun. It's like watching the stock market. I'm sure it's something that is a long-term addition and not something that can be done immediately as our product is what STATS offers SI.com and other sites they run. So we'll put in the request and work with them.

Keep the suggestions coming. I always forward them to the guys at STATS, who have been great about adding things right away that are doable. Anything that would be long-term, we'll put on the wish list and plan for the future.

Another request for the list:

Show stats todate of players on the Set Lineup Screen...

Good job overall with functionality, but I feel like ESPN has a much better 'usability'...
