Week 2 FAAB Moves

Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:



Chicago League 1: Diamond Dogs had the top bid this week, paying $90 for Denny Bautista. Other high bids were Diamond Dogs paying $70 for Todd Hollandsworth; Shawon-O-Meters paying $54 for Jeff Baker; Lake Shore Drive paying $44 for Ryan Church and No Balls No Babies! paying $41 for Ronnie Belliard.



Chicago League 2: Vast RightWing Conspiracy paid $85 for Hideo Nomo for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Sukate B paying $50 for Travis Lee and Antioch Avarice paying $41 for Kirk Saarloos.



Chicago League 3: FUPayMe had this week’s high bid paying $163 for Jose Valentin. Other high bids were Acme Dos paying $87 for Ryan Church and WHEELERS DEALERS paying $50 for Sidney Ponson.



Chicago League 4: Slumpbusters paid $222 for Joe Randa for this week’s high bid. Slumpbusters also paid $121 for Junior Spivey while 420 Feet Away paid $89 for Mark Bellhorn and The Statisticals paid $87 for Brett Myers. Other high bids were 420 Feet Away paying $70 for Jason Johnson; Keeneland paying $57 for Ryan Church and 420 Feet Away paying $45 for Todd Hollandsworth.



Las Vegas League 1: Hankerchiefs paid $432 for Joey Gathright for this league’s high bid. Hawaiian Islanders paid $265 for Joe Randa and $150 for Bruce Chen. Other high bids were KLN Rotomania paying $121 for Junior Spivey; Dregs of Sociey paying $57 for Frank Thomas and CC's Desperados (NFBC) paying $47 for Victor Diaz.



Las Vegas League 2: Dr Guadaloops paid $75 for John Patterson for this league’s high bid. Other high bids were Dr Guadaloops paying $60 for Runelvys Hernandez and CREATiVESPORTS (Buster) paying $44 for Gustavo Chacin.



Las Vegas League 3: Lace 500 paid $144 for Joe Randa for the high bid. Other high bids were Wonder Boy/Ball Dude paying $139 for Todd Hollandsworth; RoundTrippers paying $101 for Denny Bautista; Scottish Raiders paying $70 for Gregg Zaun and Insulater XXXIX paying $42 for Kenny Rogers.



Las Vegas League 4: FresnoFanatics2 paid $200 for Xavier Nady for the high bid. Other high bids were Kenmaur Square paying $85 for Junior Spivey; Balco Bartokomous paying $73 for Joey Gathright and FresnoFanatics2 paying $50 for Josh Fogg.



Las Vegas League 5: Ambrosious's Mustache paid $104 for Denny Bautista for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Flattops paying $79 for Sidney Ponson; www.SportsBuff.com paying $53 for Brian Jordan; OUT OF THE SHADOWS paying $51 for Reed Johnson and Bigalupabarntools paying $42 for Sean Burroughs.



Las Vegas League 6: Team Shairson had the high bid paying $64 for Byung-Hyun Kim.



Las Vegas League 7: Las Vegas Ratpack paid $255 for Joey Gathright for the high bid. Other high bids were Team Kanfer paying $125 for Denny Bautista; Wiseguy Baseball paying $112 for Brian Jordan and $101 for Todd Hollandsworth.



Las Vegas League 8: SEABASS NATION paid $334 for Gary Matthews Jr. for the high bid. Other high bids were Team Lyons paying $49 for Adam Bernero; SEABASS NATION paying $48 for Jose Contreras and Team Levy paying $44 for Russ Ortiz.



Las Vegas League 9: Bayes / Rackliffe paid $297 for Joe Randa for the week’s high bid. Other high bids were Some Assembly Required paying $81 for Kirk Saarloos; The Vegas Bandits paying $71 for Carlos Silva and gigglin marlin jamie paying $43 for Denny Bautista.



New York League 1: Showtime paid $87 for Denny Bautista for the high bid. Other high bids were Showtime paying $57 for Bruce Chen and High Heat paying $51 for Hideo Nomo.



New York League 2: Miranda's Marauder's paid $395 for Denny Bautista for this week’s high bid. Miranda's Marauder's also paid $155 for Chris Snyder while bluebloods2 paid $65 for John Patterson and $45 for Pedro Astacio. Other high bids were EspoPower paying $41 for Akinori Otsuka and Kosher Meat paying $40 for Kirk Saarloos.



New York League 3: BLADES N BONES paid $125 for Denny Bautista for the high bid. Other high bids were Motown Sounds paying $82 for Dustin Hermanson and $40 for Luis A. Gonzalez.



New York League 4: M&M Boys paid $97 for Tim Wakefield for the high bid. Other high bids were 75 Pound Mel-Contents paying $66 for Denny Bautista; American Dreams paying $59 for Craig Counsell; Leaderboard New York paying $58 for Tanyon Sturtze and The Naturals paying $47 for Chad Fox.

New York League 6: ryansgang paid $201 for Joe Randa for the high bid. Roseland Money Ball paid $157 for Russ Ortiz while ryansgang paid $151 for Pedro Astacio and Manda's Jowl Juicers paid $103 for Denny Bautista. NFBC Ultimate Draft League: Lake Shore Drive paid $157 for Joe Randa and KLN Ultimate paid $121 for Junior Spivey for this week’s high bids.



NFBC Ultimate Auction League: Kings of Queens paid $59 for Denny Bautista for this week’s high bid.



Las Vegas Mixed Auction League 1: Team Keikoan paid $145 for Joe Randa for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were CHARGING HIPPOS paying $65 for Jose Valentin; The Lollygaggers - Mix paying $55 for Joey Gathright; CHARGING HIPPOS paying $52 for Brian Jordan and Team Connors paying $46 for Rocco Baldelli.



Las Vegas Mixed Auction League 2: Sackofpotatoes paid $125 for Todd Hollandsworth for the high bid. Other high bids were LB Big Richards paying $77 for Joey Gathright; KLN Mixer payng $69 for Erik Bedard; Team Spyhunter paying $41 for Brian Jordan and Sackofpotatoes paying $40 for Denny Bautista.



NY/Chicago NL Auction League: Team Miller paid $150 for Jeff Baker for the high bid. Other high bids were Franks n' Beans paying $82 for Jason Ellison and $52 for Ryan Speier and Team Miller paying $50 for Jason Christiansen.



NY/Chicago Mixed Auction League: The Booze Brothers paid $183 for Chad Tracy for the high bid. Other high bids were Mattingly's Maulers paying $55 for Juan Gonzalez and Kings of Queens paying $46 for Denny Bautista.



Las Vegas NL Auction League: Crosstown Traffic paid $58 for Michael Restovich while RoundTrippers paid $49 for Eddie Perez for this league’s high bids.



Las Vegas $1,250 NL Auction League 1: Zefurs paid $267 for Jeff Baker for the high bid. Other high bids were Grey Crushed My Infield paying $88 for Michael Restovich and Team Kraus paying $50 for Jason Ellison.



Las Vegas $1,250 NL Auction League 2: Walla Walla paid $101 for Michael Restovich while Atlanta Racktors paid $77 for Jeff Baker for the high bids.



Las Vegas $1,250 AL Auction League: Look Up - See Dyv paid $293 for Emil Brown for the high bid. Other high bids were CC's Desperados-ALAuction paying $103 for Wilson Valdez and The Crowd Killers paying $94 for Greg Colbrunn.



New York AL Auction League: Stephie's New Shoes paid $487 for Emil Brown for the week’s high bid. Other high bids were Team Hertz paying $152 apiece for Kirk Saarloos and Denny Bautista; bluebloods paying $124 for Pedro Astacio and Stephie's New Shoes paying $123 for Marco Scutaro.



Las Vegas AL Auction League: Insulater paid $512 for Emil Brown for the high bid. Other high bids were RoundTrippers paying $109 for Marco Scutaro; Walla Walla paying $101 for Kirk Saarloos and Team Lammi paying $46 for Rob Bell.
