Kevin AGREED!!! It's time to get the ball rolling on this. We just have a few items to finalize before offering our 2012 events, but we are close. Very close.

Look for it soon. It's time to get the ball rolling on NFBC IX. Our NINTH SEASON!!! AMAZING. It's almost time to PLAY BALL!!

We have a lot of moving parts right now between the new Message Boards getting 8 years of posts being transferred to a new site, legalese on certain eligible sites for 2012 NFBC, hotel contracts, etc., so we're going to officially open the Registration page after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Then we should be good to go. So if all goes well, we'll have the 9th NFBC season kicking off the week of Monday, Nov. 28th.

Once we have Registration live, we'll get everyone who has committed to the Slow Drafts signed up and ready to go. Once we have those folks officially in the system, we can set a KDS deadline, fill up those leagues and get the drafts rolling. The new auto-pick feature won't be done for those first Slow Drafts, but IT is working on that feature and we will have it at some point. Just not right away. Understand that if you're signing up for the early drafts.

We'll start the Signup List once the Registration page is live. Hopefully the new Message Boards will be live that week as well. I'm looking forward to that so that more folks can sign up to join the boards and the spammers go away!! :D Plus each poster will then have their own avatar, we'll have more photos on the boards and even more graemlins. I'm really looking forward to the new boards.

So enjoy the holiday week and be ready after that to jump into NFBC events. They'll all be there soon. Thanks all.

I just got done talking with the Bellagio and we can get room blocks on both weekends at reduced prices from previous years. Not being on the first weekend of March Madness helps, but you have to like the lower price for Final Four weekend. Here's what we're looking at:

March 23-25 at $208 per night

March 30-April 1 at $184 per night

More details to come, but these are being set up now.

We're working hard to save you folks money on the hotel costs. I think we can get Chicago at $99, Mahwah at $119 and I'm working on St. Louis, too. I think NY Hilton was $239. We'll have more details on these places soon.
