Weird Science Wins Week 12 Prize

We have our first repeat winner in the NFBC this season as Weird Science in Las Vegas League 8 took home first place last week with 2,668.5 points.

Weird Science, which finished first in Week 8, was led offensively by Garrett Atkins (.440), Manny Ramirez (.407-5-15), Michael Young (.389-2-3) and David Ortiz (.385-3-8). Chris Carpenter posted two of Weird Science's five wins last week while Trevor Hoffman and Ryan Dempster combined for seven saves.

For finishing first last week Weird Science wins an autographed Ken Griffey Jr. photo framed with his home number worth $450 from Upper Deck Authenticated. Congratulations again to Weird Science and good luck to everyone in the NFBC this week.
