First Half MVP and LVP and Best Pickup

for my teams or for the league??

for the League, I can see lots more LVPs than I expected:

Beltran, Garciaparra, Lowell, Thome all come to mind (though I think Beltran is the biggest stinker as he was picked #1 by many people)

MVPs: How could Roberts, Lee, or Lee not be this person?

For me personally in the $100k Leauge

MVP: Abreu

LVP: Bret Boone, Sosa

Best Found Player on Waiver Wire: Chris Young, Frank Thomas

In the Auction Leauge:

MVP: Willis, Myers, Pujolis

LVP: Garciaparra,

Best Found Player on WW: Chris Young, John Patterson, Joe Crede

Speaking only for my sorry aXX team:

MVP: Hideki Matsui (5th rounder)

LVP: Octavio Dotel (Mr. "No Rehab, Thank You, Let's do TJ Surgery Instead")

Best Pickup: Willy Taveras (and his magic 21 SB's)

Worst Pickup: Matt "My Grandma is a Better Closer" Herges.

MVP: Cliff Floyd / Reggie Sanders - Figured both would have missed 40 games by now. Already reached projections (since I only projected half a season for both )

LVP: Beltran - 4th pick overall, PLEASE wake the F up

Best pickup: Brett Myers

MVP - While the easy choice is Abreu, we will go with our MVP pick from a later round and pick: Morgan Ensberg

LVP - Angel Berroa

Pickup - Since we dump 3 to 5 players a week, we knew one would finally stick! Could say Kenny Rogers, but not sure if I like the 20 games off!

Let's go with Mike MacDougal

Mr. Slacker (or may I call you Dan?),

I will trade you my superstar first round pick third baseman (Scott "What the hell hit me?" Rolen) for your worthless old late round Morgan Ensberg! Please!

All kidding aside, great pick on Ensberg...

:D

MVP-Figgins

LVP-Foulke (what a disapointment....jeeez)

P/up-Tino Martinez...during his home run streak. We promptly cut him after that.

Wagga Wagga Dingoes (NY#4)

Hmmmmm.... let me see if I can answer this without throwing up.

MVP---dontrelle willis

LVP--- What do you know? Its a tie between JIM THOME, BRET BOONE AND SAMMY SOSA.

If I havent had the most injuries combined with the biggest letdowns, I want to know who can top me.

In addition to my heroes above, add magglio ordonez, joe borowski, brandon lyon and tim hudson. 5 of my top 10 picks have either been injured, underacheived or just been released.

Wayne,

Dan, Slacker or SlackerDan ... all will get a response.

I wish I could trade Ensberg!! If we were able to trade in this league I would have traded my team 10x already ... ok - Ensberg for Rolen... Call it in.

My MVP - Halladay or Pujols

My LVP - Oliver Perez over Rolen

My Best Pickup - I think I got John Patterson, I have done so many hard to remember who I drafted and who I signed as a free agent

AL MVP - Ramirez or Tejada

NL MVP - D Lee

Most Dissapointing - too many to name, but start with Oliver Perez, Ben Sheets, Greinke and so on
Some Assembly Required

I have seen a couple of comments I question:

1. ordonez - whoever picked him up and though they would get a full year was nuts. He has been doing well (atleast besides BA) since he got back. He may still do well for you

2. Sheets - While I too have him in one league, he appears to be over his now yearly ear problem. Fingers crossed he will be a star still...

SPY i agree with you that sheets could have a huge 2nd half, but 3 wins and his stats for the 1st half make him a huge 1st half bust.I took him with my late 2nd round pick, and to think of the guys i passed on.

The name that suprised me was huff, still on pace for 90 rbi's . YES his homers are way down but he has 8 steals which put him on pace for 16, thats a big help. He's also been hot latley, raising his bavg.

I have been looking at the stats, and there are some names I haven't seen listed by people I would have expected like:

1. Lowell 30r 3hr 33 rbi .226 ba, now that is stinky

2. Patterson: 36r 11hr 24 rbi .232 ba, and now sent DOWN to AAA. Amazing
