In fact if anything, I respect (and fear) your recruiting techniques.

What Joe Anthony was looking at when he finally agreed to join the "Invitational". :o

Yeah, that's the exact image I was afraid of everytime the door bell rang :o . You should just hop in Glenn while you can...the view is much better from this side :D . MTM's done a great job, it'll be a blast...plus Sack wants more easy money!!

OK, enough of the BS Massotto, just answer the following three questions with the truth.....

1- Where were you on the night of January 23rd, the last night anyone on these boards had heard from either Fleming or Jupinka......alive????

2 - What was Jupinka's $100,000.00 NFBC Championship check stub doing in your safe????

3 - What were you doing at Joe Anthony's house in the middle of the night with a handgun and more importantly, that bow in your hair????

Image

The real reason Ken Magner has joined the "Invitational", an undercover sting operation to take down the King"Pug" himself, Mikey the Mouth. Magner's looking to make Commissioner one day.

Image

A word of advice Mikey.....don't bend over for the bone!!!

All kidding aside Joe, I told Mikey months back, before this thread even started, that weekend was going to be real tough for me. Believe me, I would love to be there and I'm still trying to figure it out, but it really is unlikely. Besides, Sack ended up with enough of my kids' future college funds last year. I am enjoying this thread though, fun stuff. ;)

Glenn, the way you're going in these competitions over the last couple of years, you might as well just give up any dreams that your kids will be going to college, especially since you seem to enjoy avoiding the big money drafts that are practically in your own backyard. #15 has your name all over it, so start getting used to it, or it won't be the dogs that I'll be releasing on your wimp ass.

Quick update, boys: I heard back from Scott Engel of SiriusXM Fantasy Radio CH 87 and the RotoExperts about covering "The First Annual New York Metropolitan League MTM Invitational", and he said to stay tuned and he's working on it. You remember his crew was there covering the NFBC Main Event at Citifield last year. Could be fun given this cast of characters. :D That's good enough for me. Is there any doubt that I will be able to get him there given my alluring charm and powers of persuasion? Okay Lowy, let's hear your witty retort. We're all waiting for it....

Hey all,
Mr. Scott Fleming of Totowa, NJ is officially lucky #13 in the house! :D He is ready to relieve you of your money and your dignity when he's through finishing second to me this year in the league! ;) This baby just got that much more competitive. We are now just one more away from rounding out this incredible event ! For those of you who are questioning my math on this, just refer all inquiries to Mr. Glenn Lowy. ;)

mikey the league is shaping up nicely. now to go over the top for the east coast, how about another NFBC Hall of Fame member? Did you make an offer to Shawn Childs? For a little more star effect how about a certain Rocker from Conn. See if Greg can make an offer for this league to Meatloaf. Then Glenn will be kicking himself for missing out.

Looks good, Greg. Fleming is from Totowa, NJ though. How about getting Shawn Childs to make the trip? Or what about Roy's suggestion about getting Meatloaf there?

Also, Greg, shouldn't the thread now read, "JUST TWO SPOTS LEFT" ? Really one with Lowy coming on board as #15, but not to confuse people... ;)

Mikey:

Being at 13 confirmed, this has got to be killing our "X" man hero! He must have to check this thread all the time now, not wanting to miss out on the limelight the final signup will bring him! You should probably guarantee Ole Glenn the "first" Sirius interview spot after yourself ( of course ) if you are able to secure that bonus! You know that will push him over the top. ;)

C'mon Glenn, your entry into this league would make this a true All-Star bash! My partner Joe will even buy
you your first adult beverage! Tell em Joe, we want Glenneration X to dive in to this Super Event so together we can
kick his butt! ;)

Absolutely! If I said it once I'll say it again...1st beer on me, next 2 on Jupinka!! Nobody wants Glenn in more than me...I owe him for pushing the Mouth onto me :D

Well they might have to send the second string since that is TOUT Weekend in NYC

Maybe you can get Lenny Melnick and the FPros911 crew to cover your event.

We're a Friday night event and not too far from NYC, so there should be no problem sending the A-Team to cover this event!

However, getting Melnick there may be another story.

And now to erase that last image, here's another photo of our assistant draft facilitator:

Funny you should mention this. I originally had typed in "B" for balls, and "Bastard" came up with your picture. Go figure.
