I would like to be added to one of the auctions, whatever spot might be available.. I might have missed it but is payment made through Stats or privately? Can we use a credit card?

Alan, you are signed up for the FEB 15, $250 Auction/Draft.
Payment is through STATS.
I'll give the names to Greg when we have everything set up and Greg/Tom will run credit cards then.
I'll try to give everybody a three day heads up before sending those names to Greg on this thread.
The snake portion of the draft should begin the day after the Auction.

If we end up using a system/software we are not familiar with (which is likely for most of us) I would really encourage each of the leagues to do a mock run at this. It could be a disaster otherwise, particularly for an auction. You can always stop a clock in a snake draft or rewind a pick, but the auction is a whole different animal. I know it might be tough to carve out an additional day that works for everyone in the same league, but maybe a few options could be made available. I would definitely like to participate in a trial run. Thanks for putting these together.

Hi Dan,

Since I am locked into a Feb 19th auction slot you can remove me from the alternate list from Feb 7th. I only want to join one of the auction leagues and the person below me on the Feb 7th alternate list isn't on any. If for some reason two people quit in the Feb 7th and you need a last minute replacement let me know and I can move from the Feb 19th league. Thanks, Glenn Pero

I hope we can get a look at the site prior; I have never done an online auction. I did one online years ago but we had an auctioneer online handling this from AIM. Now that was fun...."Wait!!!, don't start, I dropped my cheat sheets"

Dan,
If Glenn is out as first alternate for Feb 7, I believe that makes me first alternate for both Feb 7 and Feb 19 now.

Should anyone drop out of either, I'll want only one entry and I'd be giving up the wait list spot on the other league.
Please keep me as an alternate for both until something opens up.

Cheers!

There are some big names in these auctions. I better get studying. In fact I don't even have time to be posting this.

Hi Dan! Please add me as an alternate for the February 19th auction. I am available that night if anyone needs to drop out. Not sure how many alternatives you have/need. Dave

Time to schedule some mock auctions. If you're going to join a money auction, please try to make one of the trial runs. We won't do the whole thing. We'll stick around long enough for everyone to get the feel of the mechanism. Please either post here or PM me with the best time(s).

I'll likely schedule about 4, post the dates and let you guys pick one that is convenient.

M, T, Th night best for me. Any random weekend day/night may or may not work. That said, I can move my schedule around most evenings and will make something fit.
