NFBC Announces Bellagio as First Weekend Host Hotel - Replacing Flamingo!

Actually I really WAS hoping you could lock 'em in long term...but I realise that they are smart folks, and they may not like that idea. Great casino, great location, great city!!!

One time at the FLAMINGO, some guy walked up to me and handed me a room key and said "Here, is your room key". Didn't have a clue as to who this guy was or how the hell he got my room key? An hour later, same guy is in the same auction as me

and he is bidding me up to $19 on Phillip Hughes.

Which turned out to be a complete bust.

This was my introduction to CHEST ROCKWELL

I'll never trust Jim Christie with my room key ever again. ;)

Kent, take it easy on me this year. And a friendship was born. If I see the guy who called you a geriatric old fart I am going to give him a piece of my mind. Look forward to seeing you. That was my first auction ever. I thought that team was cooked b/c I had no #2 starter and needed Hughes. I then went out and snatched up Marcum, Garza, Wandy, and Lester for 10 total bucks. Great job Chest! Only problem was my sure thing number one starter was Verlander not so great as I valued him over Haren who went for a couple of bucks less.My bad... It just goes to prove you have hit on your sure things and your specs to win at this level.

Reading though this thread is amazing. Never thought I would see someone rail Sack like that. By the way, Sack happens to be about the nicest dude out there not to mention really damn good at these games. Probably not the year to rip on his game in NFBC after the season he put up in 2009.

The Bellagio houses the 'Go in every way possible and seriously, it's across the street, cmon.

CHEST: True indeed on the friendship. I was just telling the story to my son, couldn't remember the pitchers I left behind, was pretty sure Lester was one of them. If you see anybody in any of the MOCKS listed as Geriatric Fart, that will be me. My son laughed so hard he is naming his team the same this year. Hope to buy you a beer in Vegas, Kent.

OAK - you know, I shouldn't have gotten involved on the thread. I really wasn't "in-play" in regard to the Flamingo. But, I had to respond to his comments. I wanted to come off as a cocky ass ( you know, that is 100% not me ) just to push his buttons. It was an easy read. He gave me a good laugh. Thanks for your support Scott, looking forward to CATCHing up in Vegas. Hopefully, from a different Main Event league. Will you and Erickson be doing battle once again?

Sorry about that Walla, the Super Sunday has been a great finish to the Vegas weekend for the last two seasons, I like concluding with the big money event. You came after me on Friday and now it appears you are gunning for me on Saturday night! ;)

TOM, agreed. I could have paid for my AZ trip if I took your advice. As a Virgil Carter/ Paul Brown longtime Bengals fan you learn that rule #1 is to neva place your hard earned cash on them!

CHIP might be looking for some work in March, any chance we can have him earn his keep in Atlantic City on FRI/SAT? I'll have him take us out to the Irish Pub afterwards on the boardwalk and pick up the check. Unless of course, Charlie is in town. Don't call him the Godfather for nothing.

Yea we can put Chip to work in AC. Charlie will be there but we'll set aside special visitations for The Godfather.

But I bet Barney Fife never never had to disarm the Pizza Guy as he chased after his delivery guy with a metal rod Dickie V!

If we CATCH up in Vegas, ask me to share that story with you! ;)
